And James Woolsey, one of Clinton's several CIA directors, claimed that "almost anybody who's worked on things like this has done something like this from time to time."

I have a hard time believing Woolsey said this with a straight face. He's joking, right?

Their alternative story line is insulting to the American people's intelligence and Sandy Burglar. Unfortunately, most of the lamestream media, including the New York Slimes, have bought the RATS "alternative story line". Thankfully, the New York Post hasn't.

No Slimes editorial on the Sandy Burglar saga yet.

FYI --- the New York Post took spinmeister Lockhart's quote out of context --- but it equally applies to the RATS. According to yesterday's Denver Post, Lockhart said:

"The first rule of damage control when you're in the White House is to find an alternative story line. I think they've found one," Lockhart said. "There's absolutely no evidence that (Berger) made anything more than an honest mistake. No amount of character assassination can change that."

That is, at least twice "inadvertently" walking off with top-secret documents from the National Archives...

Try FIVE,/b> times!

Personally, I'd have 'expressed concern over the lax security at the National Archieves that would allow someone to inadvertently leave with classified documents.' And then throw in 'Strange how an administration that is running on their ability to keep the country secure, can't keep documents in the middle of Washington secure.'

But, 'that's just Sandy' is good, too.

"The first rule of damage control," he said, "is to find an alternative story line. I think they've found one."
The timing of the post/reply is just too funny...The "damage control team" needs to get better organized and coordinated.

I would not be surprised if this is indeed all about sex. Doesn't one scenario suggest that Clinton had Gorelick put up the infamous Wall between the CIA and FBI to hinder the investigation into Clinton's dalliances with Monica.

Is it implausible that the missing documents dealt with some embarassing sexual escapade and how it affected Clinton's response to terrorism.
