Democrats Release Primetime Speakers for 2004 Convention

None of them  should have been released, and indeed they should remain locked up into perpetuity.

"Ilana Wexler, 13-Year-Old Founder of Kids for Kerry"

Scary, shouldn't that kid be in school or frolick with friends during summer vacation. Have anything better to do...?

Bringing out all the big guns of their party, such as they are. I'm surprised there aren't more veterans who served with Kerry. Or anyone from Hollywood! And Sharpton instead of Jackson...times have changed, JJ was always there in the past.

The one that sickens me the most is ron reagan jr. How disgusting! Not only for him but for the dims that gave him that speaking spot. I bet you all anything that he goes off and ridicules the Bush Administration.

I think Ron Reagan is right about Stem Cells.
If Nancy starts speaking out, that will be big trouble for Bush.

They pass her off as the "founder" of Kids for Kerry, but is she just a "Kid" or the Daughter of Democratic Lunatic Robert Wexler??????

"I think Ron Reagan is right about Stem Cells. "

Geneticists and researchers disagree.

It's a whole brain disease, not a cellular disease.

My guess is you don't have a good understanding of the issue.

Bush is only prohibiting federal funding to create new fetal stem cell lines. Period. Because it involves destroying fertilized embryos.

There isn't much private funding for this, because it hasn't been useful for research. In animal studies, the critters tend to get cancer and tumors.

I looked at all those names and the only one that impressed me was Jennifer Granholm. I base that on her Sunday morning talk show appearances. What she's doing as a dim, I cannot fathom.

I am worried about Kerry's swift boat crewmate - wonder if would be in poor taste to let some of his not-so-friendly crewmates speak at RNC.

Also,I've looked at RNC speakers - there don't seem to be as many of them as Dems have. Is this a problem?

Lets see if he mentions Nancy in the speech.

Let's see what happens if he says something nice about his dad.

This will be so much fun. Inviting a few CT conservatives to my house each evening to watch the hatefest.

Did anyone else notice that the only Democrat from Texas who will speak at the convention is Jim Turner, who announced his retirement after the GOP redistricted a few months ago? None of the 5 vulnerable House Democrats from Texas that will almost certainly lose reelection (Frost, Chet Edwards, Stenholm, Sandlin and Lampson) want to be anywhere near the stage with all of those liberal freaks, since they're trying to fool the voters into thinking that they are "conservatives."

Welcome to Free Republic, member since July 15.

Ron Reagan is wrong about Stem Cells. Ron Reagan is finding a way to stick it to the President, just like his atheistic agenda requires.

The science isn't there for embryonic stem cells. If it were, the private money would be flowing to it. The private money isn't. So why should public money? Why should my money be used to kill embryonic children?

George W. Bush is right: public money should not be used for embryonic stem cell research. Let the private sector do it. Which it isn't, because the promise is not there.
