Prayers For A Wounded Soldier

Andy was gravely injured by a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) while riding in a Bradley fighting vehicle. He was on an early morning patrol near Samarra, Iraq with his platoon. His head injuries were treated by neurosurgeon Dr. Richard Gullick and the medical team of the 31st Combat Support Hospital in the field at Balad, Iraq.
Latest News: Andy remains in critical condition. Immediate prayer concerns for Andy: (1) fever of 103 degrees (2) risk of blood clots because of his prone position. In order to perform medical tests today, all sedation was stopped. Andy has definite motor response to pain, including facial expression and hand grip. Within the next day or so: a tracheotomy tube will replace the ventilator and the nose feeding tube will be replaced with a stomach tube.
