A certain saying about living by swords comes to mind...
He who lives by the sword tree, dies by the sword tree...

Well, maybe that Tree didn't want a hammock attached to it. Trees have feelings too, ya know.

If a tree falls in the forest, will an environmentalist hear it? Guess not.

:Hums "Isn't it ironic":
Which by the way did not live up to the title proving once again that the western school systems are failing to teach as most things listed in the song are not ironic at all but are simply unexpected or bad luck which may or may not be ironic.
However in this case a man who has dedicated his life to saving trees being killed by a tree can indeed be classified as ironic.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!
Snort! Snort! (wipes tears of mirth from eyes)
I can just imagine Shakespeare's wood nymph looking down from her perch in the tree over the hammock, and seeing that the book was made from the tree her mate lived and died in. She screams "Revenge!" and topples the tree on the unsuspecting land shark, er, lawyer.
This is just too rich.
