Good morning FInest I'm in the mood for some good old southern biscuits. We had chicken & dumplings last night with corn on the cob and local grown tomatos.

Virginia is such a beautiful place, full of history and gorgeous landscapes. You covered this State well Mama Bear with a lovely presentation.
While visiting there I enjoyed seeing the historical Williamsburg style brick homes that dot the countryside. Virginia has American class.
BTW...missed you last comment last night about NC, will FReepmail you with a response.

Thank you Mama Bear. Virginia ping.
To Be a Virginian
either by birth, marriage, adoption,
or even on one's mother's side,
is an introduction to any state in the Union,
a passport to any foreign country,
and a benediction from the Almighty God.

Mama Bear,
With your fine tribute to the World War II veterans and the memorial, I'd also like to point out that the National D-Day Memorial is in Bedford, Virginia.
Bedford was chosen because, while a small southern community, they lost more young men per capita than any other U.S. community.

Mornin' Mama Bear! Oh, you were so very close to having a flawless presentation.
The only thing that prevented it from being perfect is the exclusion of this......
Carry Me Back to Old Virginny
But it was a good effort. :-)

Hello Mama Bear!
I just ran across your tribute to my home state of Virginia - beautiful, beautiful work! You and your "FR Finest" FRiends are so talented.
I was wondering if you have a "tube" for the dogwood branch that you would be willing to share with me. Thank you in advance, Spotsy
