Maybe they will go after the person that received them?

...and the person who ordered them taken.

Attention!! This is a shame I suspected Berger would walk because they are only questioning what he removed.

I want to know what document he replaced with sterilized information.

We never get the full story, and like x42i's MonicaGate I can see a much jucier story behind the hyperboil the media is allowing to fester.

He said it DIDN'T MATTER whether or not these were copies.

True. Which means either the CBS story is bogus or somebody from the DNC is trying to BS C(BS).

(gee, there is a shocker)

I have seen no confirmation that this story about no charges is true. Not on Fox news website, nor the local CBS affiliate website. We'll see.

Your blithe assetion that there are different rules for the in-crowd may be true- but it is still destestable. I suspect that Thomas Jeffereson and our Founding Fathers would have advocated armed insurrection against such a system.

There is commonlaw precedent that people that can influence the public welfare are held to less strict adherance to the rules and regulations of society at large especially when it would interfere with their public duties.

Gee, maybe someone shoulda told Nixon and his staff about that. Particularly the ones that went to jail.

If this is dropped. I am giving up on the Republican Party for good. The Republican Party is OVER. If the Republicans even refuse to enforce the law, then they should just resign and let the Democrats have it.

Don't be foolish. CBS is reporting this. They are an adjunct organization of the DNC. There are career officials in DOJ that are also Democrats. No one said it would be easy to enforce the rule of law. Everything hangs in the balance and this is a war.

The "mislocation" of 900+ FBI files is a felony.

No one was charged. No one will be charged.

Same song, different verse.

I just checked cbs.com and cnn.com. They have no mention of this.

But so and so just had to post this to get people to jump overboard. Were any of these people on these threads ever in the military ? Has no one ever taught them anything about disinformation, psyops, keeping one's cool under fire ?

Even if, if, a Democrat in DOJ (someone like Mary White) refuses to prosecute (and the current prosecutor is the one who won the case against Martha Stewart), it is no reason to betray the only party left who will defend America. It does not mean 100% of Republicans are always right but there is still a majority in the House and sometimes/almost a majority in the Senate who will defend this country. Bush/Cheney will defend this country.

As I understand it, each of the copies of a draft report were saved as each of the copies had marginal notes on them, written by the reviewer of the draft. Thus, each of the text copies, became originals once they were modified by the reviewer.

Say for instance, if the copy that Clinton reviewed, had a handwritten marginal note, "Dick, we can't do that because as you know they got us with TWA 800 and in OKC, so that policy is unworkable."

I think that those "Original copies" were the ones that got stuffed in the underwear, and were inadvertently used as a poopie pad by Burgler's puppy, so they are "unavailable" for return.

You need to source this better. Was it CBS News reporting this as a fact? Or was it some shill giving his opinion?

My understanding is that the Martha Stewart prosecutor is in charge. No pleas. No prisoners.

If I were th prosecutor I would settle for nothing less than a full statement of what he was up to and for whom.
