I agree. But my question is WHY?
I mean, Sandy Burger is and always has been a big time player in the game. Why are they sacraficing one of their bigger players when they don't have to?
There must be something really big below all of this. And the cards have not been delt yet for us to know.
Sandy Burger was a stone pillar in the Clinton Administration. For them to let him take this is just amazing.
What we still don't know is gonna be good for this to happen.
My quick guess is this has to do with Kerry and could scuffle his nomonation.
Bill had him do this as a means to cover Bill. EVERYONE is expendable, when it comes to saving the Clintons';E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E !
I really don't think that Kerry will be forced out and especially not over this. But it IS going to rob him of a large bump, after the convention.
Bill Clinton says he's known about the probe for "months"
1. Why/how did Bubba know about the investigation?
2. Who else new? I find it hard to believe that Intelligence Committees weren't informed of this. Edwards (when he bothers to show up) is on the committee.
3. Why didn't at least one Dim think this might be something Flipper should know? With friends like these...
Bold prediction here. Kerry is out even before the convention. Check the news in next few days.
Sandy is tied to Bill far more than to Jaques.
10. Men's room out of tp.
9. Was testing security system.
8. Needed something to jot security wand chick's phone number on.
7. Dress rehearsal for when he gets Alzheimer's.
6. Caught shoplifting bug from Winona.
5. Only wanted to correct typos and return them.
4. Did you really expect him to stick his chewing gum under the desk?
3. Was trying to save time by practicing his origami and contortionism at same time.
2. Has rare psychiatric condition of paper-eroticism.
1. Was trying to figure out how Hillary did the Rose law firm papers trick.
Don't forget.
It was Bush's fault.
They were National Security Breeches.
The 'Gore Package Bulge' thing!
If he's convicted of this, he'll also be disbarred -- but only if a hundred thousand of us put the pressure on like we had to with the Arkansas bar.
How about...
He said to himself, what would Bill Clinton do if he were in this situation?
