Dennis Miller did his version of "inadvertantly" stuffing papers down his pants tonight. He said it was hard to do. Darn funny.
BW Thanks for the source.

Fox just reported that not only did Sandy Berger conceal documents in his jacket and pants but also stuffed them in his socks. WOW!
People like Miller with common sense get it. You cannot "inadvertantly" conceal something. Concealing demonstrates cognizance!
How do they know where he stuffed the papers?...Are there pictures? WIll they be on the front page of the NYT and LAT day after day after....? WIll FABC,FNBC,FCNN,FCBS all flash the pictures again and again?
WE demand to see the pictures!
If any of his lies were said to Federal agents then he's going to wind up joining Martha.
How did we learn that he put anything in his socks? That's a bizarre thing to fess up to unless there is video or photos of him doing it.
Perhap's it was just a nervous affliction. Some people twiddle their hair absently as they work. Others stuff things in their socks.
Can I like, "inadvertently" rob a bank or embezzle money from my company? Well, HA HA HA, I keep a messy desk and only if you knew me, you'd laugh too!!!???
(How can you "inadvertently" stuff paper down your pants and socks........ wouldn't you KNOW and FEEL "it"?)
Others stuff things in their socks....or down their pants....
;^)
Yes; and he looked a bit wan as he attempted to explain the 'most likely' scenario of Berger's innocence.
I believe as well, that Berger is telling the truth of the matter as well; limited in scope as it is. He surely knew; just as he admits; that he made an honest mistake. . .that is to say, he honestly knew it was a mistake to remove these classified documents.
Of course, he knows it was much more than that; but this seems suffcient enough as an explanation.
Oh; right. . .Sandy Berger is honest as well, that it was a 'sloppy' job. . .papers stuffed here. ..there. . .
I figure Berger must have realized sooner, rather than later; that a grievious error had occured. Surely as he exited the building; the sound of crunching and the feeling of feet; suddenly grown large in his own shoes; would have gotten his attention.
Just don't know why he waited until the FBI searched his home; to explain that he made an honest mistake in judgment.
It happens apparently, even to genuine, loyal American patriots.
Only the most zealous of partisans can accept and reprint the "inadvertanly" lie.
INADVERTENTLY Clintonesque; this type of mischief is why those towers are not standing today. It was widespread inadvertent behavior by an administration that sought to mold reality to suit their desires.
Perhaps someone would correct the title for me if they saw fit...
Heh, yep. When I was a child, I tried to use that ole "inadvertently" excuse, but never worked. Tried it twice; first and second time, after I got my butt whopped "inadvertently!"
Now that misspelling was inadvertently done.
Awwww shucks, people know what you meant? Didn't even realize you spelled it wrong. I don't come here for spelling lessons and doubt other do.
I meant to say, first and LAST time.
He could have put classified documents in his pants inadvertently. Maybe he was keeping them there while he worked on other things, and forgot to remove them when he left. And maybe he did this five times. And maybe Ralph Nader can be president someday.
IMPOTUS = Impeached Molester President of the United States?
I agree. Right now, it isn't the timing of the leak, but the timing of the crime...
"Dee Dee is correct. He was one of the people representing the Clinton admin in the 9/11 hearings."
You're right. However, she used the term "Clinton administration" as though it were in power at the time of the Berger archive scandal (had to say that!). If GHWB sent Dan Quayle to the arcinves tomorrow, it would be equally inappropriate to say that Quayle was sent by the Bush administration.
Splitting hairs? Sure.
Having fun? You bet.
