Look on the bright side. At least the Toons didn't send Madeleine Albright in to steal it and stuff it in her stinky bra.

Did anybody see the look on Sen. Bill Nelson's face when they asked him about Berger? His eyes go real big, stuttered, and then talked about partisanism in Washington. I think his secretary forgot to give him his DNC talking points that morning.

He misunderstood what AL Gore told him to do with socks and trousers.

Well they certainly were aware of Berger's theft after his first visit. Reportedly they tagged some documents. It would not surprise me to learn he was under investigation.

Remember from the Clinton years, "First, deny everything."

"It's not a crime" is also a talking point (the DUmmies have said that "these were his notes anyway"). I guess that the left has given up complaining about the erased portion of the Nixon tapes.

"I didn't stuff stuff in my socks. I have Argyle tattoos on my legs." Case closed.

"He stuffed them down his underpants so he could walk out knowing they'd stay in place."

Berger's pilfering gives new meaning to classified briefs.

Maybe he borrowed and was using Hillary's briefs and could stuff a whole lot of documents into them.

Ha ha ha! they would be big enough to fit all the docs generated by that adminstration!

Yes --- the classified briefs smuggled out in a brief case, but not in a briefcase.

But, how do Kerry & Edwards fit into all this ?
They have no connection - yet it may hurt their 'cause'...
