Will it be Isakson? Cain? A runoff?
Will that beast McKinney go down in flames to Leviatan?
Who will be the Dims sacrificial lamb in the Senate race?
Here is the place where we'll discuss it.
Speaking of pick ups, does anybody have the score? Are we winning seats or loosing numerically?
Majette will be in a runoff with Oxfor and the winner will get wiped by Isakson.
There is a Republican opponent by the name of Jones in the 4CD. The problem is there are too many Rats in that district, so if McKinney holds on, she's all but a lock to win in November. There are five precincts out (3 in DeKalb, 2 in Gwinnett -- there's still hope -- at least some of hte DeKalb vote is out in the 80th Assembly District, which includes a lot of rich North DeKalb).
Would not matter if their was a republican to run against McKinney district is 60% black.
Here it is 12:45 in the morning and I came up with one more...
Dr. Johnny Fever - from "WKRP in Cincinnati".
OK, now I can sleep peacefully.
Bingo!
That's what I've said several times tonight.
Isakson is no RINO.
In fact, the word RINO has got to be one of the most abused and misused words in Free Republic.
I stand corrected, I just looked through the open DeKalb Assembly seats, and there's between 2 and 3 precincts missing in each one. Maybe they haven't counted all the Early Balloting yet or something.
Woolard said that there were 20,000 votes missing when she wouldn't concede. One can only hope.
AJC says 1005 in and Mckinney has 51%
It,s getting late. That should read 100% in.Mckinney wins.
Wouldn't shock me.
Secretary of State does not agree yet though. Still at 97%.
Businessmen may well be better at thinking outside the box, but that doesn't address the concerns I raised in my e-mails.
If you're sending someone to the Senate, especially ... the main seat of Democratic power in our political system today, except perhaps for the courts ... you really want a person who is experienced in dealing with the RATS, and standing up to them and their very powerful lobbies.
Plus McKinney's vote total is larger with the SOS than the AJC, while the AJC is allegedly at 100%.
Well crap.
Georgians had the chance to make a difference tonight.
They failed.
Your information is faulty. Isakson did not run against Chambliss for Senate. He ran for Senate in 1996 to fill the open seat being vacated by Sam Nunn against wazzhisname, the 3 time loser businessman.
It sucks.
As a resident of the 4th, I can hardly contain my disgust that my representative in the House will be McKinney (D-Damascus).
No candidate is entitled to anyone's vote. Votes must be earned. So I don't fault anyone who votes thrid party. For me, I write-in "dream candidates" only if the race is a foregone conclusion. However if the race is 10 points or below, then I will vote for the candidate that least offends me.
I won't vote for Isakson either.
Guy Milner.
Milner won the primary out-right (I think) and narrowly lost to Max "War Hero" Cleland in the general election.
Isakson's got bad votes on guns and abortion.
No, but if you really care about what happens to the country, as opposed to just making yourself feel good, you vote to get the best person in office. With virtually no exceptions, you are doing that by voting R over D.
So, do what you please. Be loyal to your country, or be loyal to your own feelgoodness.
