Sounds like a deparate attempt at changing the subject from Sandy Berger. The similarity in the charges that the documents aren't there is striking.

TM: "We won't show you our documents until you show us yours"

kerry, testimony before Congress, 22 April, 1971, kerry says, "I have been to Paris. I have talked with both delegations at the peace talks, that is to say the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the Provisional Revolutionary Government,...."*(not on any authorised mission by the U.S. Government or by the U.S. military, kerry and his VVAW group meets and negotiates with the then enemy).

*excerpted from the Official U.S. Congressional Record dated 22 April, 1971.

"revamp the U.S. military", read as kerry's plan to PURGE the U.S. Military of Pro U.S. Military Veterans and Republicans, make it totally dependant on U.N. forces support for any significant achievement capable military(similar to france, germany, etc.), Turn home based U.S. Armed Forces, Intelligence agencies and Law Enforcement agencies into the democratic party's{including CPUSA and DSA} Praetorian Guard!!!!

kerry stabbed U.S. in the back continually since his return from Viet Nam. How much more backstabbing from this 22 April, 1971 testimony(self confessed traitor) before Congress that he(kerry) met with the then enemy in Paris, are we supposed to stand????

Wow, again?

Did they run out of "scandals" so soon?

McAwful is a deperate moron. How he retains power after his string of embarrassing defeats is beyond me.

Good for them, this has gone no where in four years and it will go nowhere for four months; now if they would only discuss his WAR record: 50 million people liberated

"In addition, former Senator Max Cleland, who lost three limbs in Vietnam, will introduce Kerry to the convention."

Lost 3 limbs - when he stupidly picked up a live grenade which had been dropped by another US soldier. The DNC is shameless.

We know that John Edwards did not volunteer for service. I wonder if McAuliffe volunteered for the military.

If Kerry wants to run on War records.....
Well, I'll take Bush and his several years of Commanding the ENTIRE MILITARY in wartime and liberating millions...
over Kerry's 4 months any day of the week.

Beside....Bush asked to go to Vietnam and was not given the slot. IF Terry keep pushing this...I am sure the GOP will unload that on him.

It is beyond galling to have the President military service questioned by a girlie-man who would not consider serving himself for a nano-second.

Actually, they've got even less .. because the US Military has said that in an attempt to preserve some of the microfisch documents from WWII, Korea and Vietnam, they were inadvertently destroyed.

McAwful cannot PROVE anything with NON-EXISTENT documents. It actually ends up being approx 1 year of Bush's service which has no documentation. There's nothing McAwful can do to manufacture BAD evidence when the military records were destroyed.

And .. I believe this might have happened when Gore was on his tear to streamline the govt. I guess destroying documents (which might have included some of Kerry's stuff too?) can be considered streamline.
