I'm in a business where evaluating peoples' integrity is important. I've been doing it for a long time. I knew Berger was a scumbag, slimeball mudwhore the first time I laid eyes on him.

I don't think this one is going to slide. It's too cut and dry. The guy shoved secret documents into his socks to steal them. There is no way on earth that the Dems can call this one a "partisan witch hunt."
It's a national security case, and The Berger is well done.

One thing's certain. The democrats will come up with a line of defense and the press will repeat it.
The question is, will this administration take the gloves off this time?

IMHO, in early 2001, the Bush Administration made a decision:
"The Clintons have done a lot of damage to this country. And if we pushed real hard we could find enough stuff to have them arrested and put on trial. But the country has already gone through a lot with the scandals, the trial, the impeachment, etc.
"So, rather than continue to have the country in an uproar about all this, we're going to give the Clintons a pass, hoping they'll realize how lucky they are and that they'll just go away."
Obviously, they way underestimated the Clintons and the DNC. Again, IMHO, they've given the Clintons plenty of time and rope. It's now past time to get serious about excising this festering lesion from the country.

Ha-ha!
As soon as I heard of Burglar's actions, I thought of Hillary.
Hmmm.. Perhaps Hillary as the Wicked Witch, gazing into her crystal ball at Kerry, with Berger as the Flying Monkey...
