Sandy Berger has met much of the day with attorneys.

Among those he has hired is former Clinton administration lawyer Lanny Breuer.

Sources say Breuer has been in contact with prosecutors.

Sources also say Berger is stressing a willingness to cooperate, but investigators have not yet asked to speak with him.

Mr. Berger serves as an informal advisor to Senator John Kerry on national security matters.

There's more to this story than the liberal media is willing to investigate. They need a Deep Throat to get at teh truth. I'm betting that the Kerry campaign is behind it. Kerry had a bigger incentive than Clinton to doctor the record in order to make Bush look bad.

Yes he was the former Special counsel to Clinton during the impeachment trials. Operating mostly behind the scenes, Breuer has earned a reputation as a low-key workhorse in the Clinton camp. He was hit with a supoena from Ken Starr in 1998, and was forced to testify before the grand jury despite strong protest from the White House.
