You know I couldn't agree with you more about the "middle east trip" and bringing the burqa. She should be forced to read about George Washington during Christmas eve when he faced the wall without time, food, clothes, and very few men left on his side. And he did this all for a country that he thought should have these liberty's that all of us have now.(the very one's she enjoys each day) She should know that many a day he sat and cried over what to do.
I'd give her a week before she would be in tears to return to American and kiss its ground while ripping off that damned burqa. (grrrrrrrrrr)

The left isn't moved by any of that, I assure you. I've encountered these people. "Washington attacked a bunch of helpless drunks!" If they praise our Revolution at all, it's to say that Washington et. al were the same as the terrorists are now. "They knew terrorism was the only way for change!" Of course, anyone who really knows anything about the Revolution knows how twisted and wrong that is.
I agree with the sentiment that Ronstadt ought to advertise "Republicans and (fundamentalist) Christians not welcome." If she's honest about it up front, maybe she won't have to worry that she might be entertaining the enemy.
