As Klintoon's national security adviser, Berger was in on all the shady deals with foreign nationals and the PRC.
Trousergate is Berger's way of sanitizing the files that could again alert the public to what happened in the 2 Clinton terms and show what Kerry will do to sell the USA to foreign bidders.

When Monica was no longer on the scene, he really did have to clean up his mess. Then he discovered the sink outside the Oral Orafice.

After they charge him with espionage, perhaps he should be probed with a live wire.

Problem is, seems like all the Clinton crime mob have gone untouched by the Bush\Ashcroft DOJ.
I can spin all kinds of reasons in my head why, but I really don't know how such obvious criminality can't be prosecuted.
Just look at the Torricelli thing alone and you'll see the obvious lack of pursuit when politics are involved. It's getting really ugly, like a big elephant turd in the living room. Hard to ignore.

Something really smells here. Berger was Clinton's
national security advisor, not just some poor schmuck off the street who got mixed up in something involving
national security and didn't know what he was doing.
Can anybody picture Condoleezza Rice doing this? And then just dismissing it as "sloppy"? I can't.
To: Dave Olson
Why would he risk prison unless the documents were so damaging as to prove that Clinton basically caused 9 11?

This will be old news in a couple days, and Berger won't be prosecuted. Rats aren't required to play by the rules.

You're not missing a thing. This will be minimized and excused, unless the Bush people make a big issue of it (yeah, right!)

I think they have been building the case(s). With this crowd, any case must start at the bottom, work up and be foolproof.
Ashcroft fired the 1st shot when he exposed the Gorelick Wall memo and stated that the administration was not briefed on terror disruptions and that the so-called disruptions were not implemented due to political cowardice.
This is the 2nd shot.
2 summers ago, I read that the Justice Department had raided 2 storage units: one in California and another that I don't recall, perhaps Texas. Contents were Rose Law Firm documents, perhaps billing records; I don't think the articles were specific.
Peter Paul was extradited and is supposedly being cooperative on Hillary's campaign finance dealings. Aaron Tonken, Hillary's Hollywood bagman, is doing time. His book, which is a tell-all, comes out in October.
Who leaked TrouserGate?
The administration is doing what it should in a very methodical manner. Evidently, they are not willing to lose the election and allow all of this to be swept under the rug again.
I think perhaps the strong reaction to the Los Alamos security breaches is part of this, as well. Shutting down a premier research facility has not happened before when classified research went missing.

To understand why papers describing reaction to the millenium plot Just read John Ashcrofts testimony to the 9/11 commission about that subject and you will see why the papers that Berger INADVERTENLY took just happened to get lost.
