Islam is the modern day manifestation of the pagan religious cult that extended and dominated from the Arabian Pennisula up into Mesopotamia and predated even God's calling of Abram out of Ur of the Chaldees. Islam's roots are firmly planted in the Arabian Pennisula and it remains the epicenter of the religion to this day. Everything about Islam is and was defined by this region and its inhabitants.
Arabs (Muslims) have long been involved in the slave trade (black and otherwise) and it continues to this day. Why many of the world's non-white people groups feel Islam benefits them is perplexing. The black Muslims in Darfur are now beginning to see how they are viewed by their Arab masters. The non-Arab within Islam is accorded equal status only so long as he remains useful. Once he has served his purpose his true standing becomes evident.
True Islam is monotheistic paganism which true to its roots can only result in subjugation, death and destruction as it advances. This is seen around the world, the Christians and animists in southern Sudan have seen it and now the black Muslims in Sudan are experiencing the same.
