I downloaded F911 from the internet.....sorry, but I am unemployed and dead broke, and I just couldn't stand it any longer. I had to see it. It was, indeed, a good movie. And it covered a lot of things that have been covered here. I think that it will blow the minds of some Republicans. It is a history-maker, in and of itself

"Dead broke" enough to afford a high-speed internet connection? Schweet story. Oh, forgot, you've been downloading it for the last 18 days over a free AOL dialup...

Thanks so much for judging me and my situation! I have a cable modem, which costs $30.00 a month. I don't have a telephone and I don't have hot water, am unemployed, and my husband hasn't been paid in over two weeks. And, it won't be long before they cut the cable internet access off, too. Oh, and the only thing in the house to eat? Microwave popcorn. If it's any of your business.

But, once again, thanks so much for judging me and my situation.

Your world sounds a lot like mine. I can't even seem to scrape together five bucks to send to DU, not with the power company looming over me while I roll pennies to pay them. Hell, even my car tags are expired.

And I work every day.

Welcome to Dick Cheney's America.

When You're A Liberal In This Country, Internet's Not A Luxury ... it's a necessity.

Amazing folks who don't have money who can "fast download" Pirated copy of Moore's Documentary. I'm on "dial up" and not in financial difficulty...but wonder how folks can afford DLS/Cable/T-1 when they claim they are too poor to afford a movie ticket.

Begs my imagination.

Judging is what DU does best I'm sorry you got those rude comments, but that's DU.

I'm in a lot the same situation, and have had the same insensitive in uncaring criticisms.

I wish you well, and I'm glad you did what you needed to do for yourself, and downloaded the movie. I'm sure Michael is glad it's available for you.

Enjoy it, feel good about yourself, and thanks for your efforts in the cause of democracy!

Doncha just love it when people make snap judgements when they don't know shit?

When you said you were broke ..I took you at your word..I'm not so rollin' in dough, either, but I have my priorites and my computer and internet connection is one of them.

I hope things go better for you and your husband real soon..hang in there!

And so glad you got to see F9/11..I'm one of those who saw Moore saying he didn't care if it was downloaded..he just wants People to see the freakin' thing!

I downloaded F911 at my job... Sure, I can afford it... but it will take a few months for it to start playing here, and I just wasn't planning to wait. But what if I lived in the US, and didn't have any money? I would download it at work if I were allowed to. You don't need to have Internet access at home in order to do it.

Your attitude is pathetic.

Judgemental, aren't we? How is the rarefied air up there on that high horse?

Geez... I left the best DU post out! These guys are sick! LOL! Ok, here it is:

I thought that this was a place that I could express my Democratic views.. Perhaps I was wrong. I didn't think that I was writing a "review." I saw the movie and I thought it was great, and it struck me as very unusual that a documentary could change history, as this one is going to do. I have lived for 49 years and never seen that. I have grown tired, as have the rest of you, of seeing the Dems in Congress run like scared puppies at the Republican vitriol thrown at them. I am so proud and so happy that we have a champion in people like Michael Moore and I wanted to tell people that I think that this movie is going to make history, as the first documentary to change the outcome of a national election. The reason that I admitted to downloading it should be obvious: I can make no comment (as many fellow DUers did) about my fellow audience members' reaction to it, since there were no other audience members. And, of course, I admit that I feel guilty because I did not give Mr. Moore a piece of my money, by going to the theaters to watch it. If I had wanted other people to download it, I would have posted the website here. Like I said, though, it's so nice to find that the very people you thought were on "your side," are your judge and your jury. Melanie
