You, and everyone here, knows as well as anyone, that shortly after the World Trade Center was hit by the Terrorists, and then the Pentagon and the Jetliner crashing in that field in Pennsylvania, the first person any reasonable minded person would want to hold responsible was Bill Clinton.

The fact that we were attacked 4 times before 9/11 by Al-Qaeda linked terrorists, with little or no response from the Clinton Administration. The blame would have to be placed on an Administration who wagged its finger on National TV and promised to bring those responsible to justice, and DID NOTHING.

Bill Clinton knew this, his staff knew this, and so did his senior cabinet members. My guess is that Bill Clinton sounded the alarm to all his people that it was time to go on the defensive and use this opportunity to attack President Bush. The problem was.... this administration appears to have been one step in front of them.

I believe when history is written, this administration two terms will be credited for removing the criminal Dictators in the Middle East and the Democratic Party from the criminals within

With the Clintons, bad news headlines always meant there was something worse going on that wasn't being reported. For instance, IIRC, black leaders (don't remember which) were demanding investigation of Ron Brown's death when 'Monica' suddenly became a household word. Talk of Brown disappeared (actually was hardly mentioned) and the same people wanting investigation were defending Slick Willie on TV.
