"I've been dedicating a song to him I think he's a great patriot and it splits the audience down the middle, and they duke it out," she said.
"This is an election year, and I think we're in desperate trouble and it's time for people to speak up and not pipe down. It's a real conflict for me when I go to a concert and find out somebody in the audience is a Republican or fundamental Christian. It can cloud my enjoyment. I'd rather not know."
-San Diego Union Tribune, July 15
It must be dreadful to be so disturbed.
Then stop bringing up politics you ditz!!!!!!
I just hope the place is always empty now.
Isn't this hate speech? I think she is a religion bigot among other things. I am offended and think she should be sued for these remarks. They hurt my feelings and they are insensitive and may cause others to commit hate crimes against those of us who are fundamentalist Christians. I am calling my team of lawyers.
I think Ashcroft should start an investigation into these hateful, mean spirited remarks. /dripping sarcasm?
