RALEIGH - An Army private charged with prisoner abuse after pictures surfaced of her with naked Iraqi detainees has been charged again, this time for participating in explicit pictures not involving prisoners.
Pfc. Lynndie England was charged late Thursday with one count of violating a general order "that prohibits the creation and possession of sexually explicit photographs" and four counts of indecent acts, according to a statement released Friday by Fort Bragg.
Pfc. England is due in military court at the base beginning Monday for a hearing on whether she should face a military trial in the case.
Spokesman Maj. Richard Patterson declined to give specifics of the new charges, saying details probably would be revealed at next weeks hearing.
"None of these five (additional) charges involved Iraqi detainees or Iraqi nationals," Maj. Patterson said.
Before the new charges, Pfc. England faced 13 counts. She was charged with three counts of assaulting detainees, one of conspiracy, one of committing indecent acts and eight of taking photos and posing prisoners in photos.
If convicted on the original charges, she faced a dishonorable discharge and up to 15 years in prison. Army officials did not know how much the additional charges could add to a sentence.
Pfc. Englands attorneys did not return repeated telephone calls Friday seeking comment. They have said previously that Pfc. England was only doing what she was ordered to do and that her actions were sanctioned at higher levels.
The Washington Post reported it had obtained images of Pfc. England undressed and in sexual poses with a male soldier.
Spc. Charles A. Graner Jr., 35, another soldier in Pfc. Englands unit, can be seen in some photos, the Post reported. Spc. Graner has been charged with abuses and was involved in a romantic relationship with Pfc. England, 21. He also faces adultery charges for allegedly having sex with Pfc. England last October.
Pfc. England is pregnant with Spc. Graners child, her lawyers have said.
Richard Hernandez, a lawyer on Pfc. Englands all-volunteer defense team, told the Post that the photos were personal and had nothing to do with the prison abuse charges.
Maj. Patterson said the general order charge stems from regulations issued by the regional commander outlining prohibited activities such as possession of pornography, possessing private firearms, use of alcohol or controlled substances, gambling, or defacing artifacts or taking war trophies.
Pfc. England, a support specialist from Fort Ashby, W.Va., is one of six soldiers who still face charges in the scandal; Spc. Jeremy Sivits, has already pleaded guilty and been sentenced to a year in prison. All seven soldiers charged in the abuse scandal are from the 372nd Military Police Company, an Army Reserve unit from Crespatown, Md.
She has been assigned to Fort Bragg pending disposition of the charges.
One member on the Hill who viewed the video of her involved in group sex said that he witnessed her servicing multiple partners.
If she likes to do the nasty with two or more at a time, then why would anyone even begin to think she's not capable of behaving as we've seen in the press on her own and without orders?
She thought she was still in Clinton's army.

I totally agree.
I wonder just who the heck was suposed to be running this camp. It seems the power structure broke down, and the weirdos kept getting more weird, and out of control. This reminds me of a show I saw on the history channel or some place
"The fall of the Roman Empire from the inside out.
(Someone had to say it.)
But I'm sure that she has a nice personality.
"Have you seen this girl? She's, um, visage-ly challenged.
But I'm sure that she has a nice personality."
LOL OUCH!
I just call 'em like I see 'em.
Of our favorite Brigadier?
Post pics of a looker and I'll pretend it's her.
Paging Ann Coulter.....paging Ann Coulter.
Wow! Lucky girl. I bet all these leftists lawyers believe she's innocent. I wonder how many of them are from NOW?
Lots of soldiers probably had sex in Iraq...few took pictures of themselves doing it and then put the pictures on official computers.
Stands to reason. Lots of digital cameras. Very few privately owned computers.
(and I really, really hope and pray that she opts for a closed adoption for her child, so that he/she can be shielded from his stupid mother's unsavory past)
