Perhaps the Swiftboat Veterans for Truth, composed of most, if not all, of Kerry's commanders, other swiftboat commanders and crew, could relieve you of your tedium.
They come from every walk of life, but they agree on one thing: Kerry is unfit to be Commander in Chief.
I have reproduced their open letter to Kerry from their website (www.swiftvets.com) below for your enjoyment.
Senator Kerry
We write from our common heritage as veterans of duty aboard Swift Boats in the Vietnam War. Indeed, you should note that a substantial number of those men who served directly with you during your four month tour in Vietnam have signed this letter.
It is our collective judgment that, upon your return from Vietnam, you grossly and knowingly distorted the conduct of the American soldiers, marines, sailors and airmen of that war (including a betrayal of many of us, without regard for the danger your actions caused us). Further, we believe that you have withheld and/or distorted material facts as to your own conduct in this war.
We believe you continue this conduct today, albeit by changing from an anti-war to a "war hero" status. You now seek to clad yourself in the very medals that you disdainfully threw away in the early years of your political career. In the process, we believe you continue a deception as to your own conduct through such tactics as the disclosure of only carefully screened portions of your military records. Both then and now, we have concluded that you have deceived the public, and in the process have betrayed honorable men, to further your personal political goals.
Your conduct is such as to raise substantive concerns as to your honesty and your ability to serve, as you currently seek, as Commander-in-Chief of the military services.
It is vital that the American public have as much information as possible about candidates for President of the United States. In various ways, you have rightly called upon President Bush to be fully accountable and to provide full disclosure. In the same spirit, now that you are the presumptive nominee of your Party, we believe it is incumbent upon you to make your total military record open to the American people.
Specifically, we the undersigned formally request that you authorize the Department of the Navy to independently release your military records (through your execution of Standard Form 180), complete and unaltered, including your military medical records. Further, we call upon you to correct the misconceptions your campaign seeks to create as to your conduct while in Vietnam. Permit the American public the opportunity to assess your military performance upon the record, and not upon campaign rhetoric.
Senator Kerry, we were there. We know the truth. We have been silent long enough. The stakes are too great, not only for America in general but, most importantly, for those who have followed us into service in Iraq and Afghanistan. We call upon you to provide a full, accurate accounting of your conduct in Vietnam.

'I think there needs to be a televised commercial with the soldiers in the 1960 group picture which states: "I was in viet nam during Kerry's three months there, and when he recieved his "wounds". I am not voting for Kerry." and repeat this and then image after image saying "I am voting for President Bush." Place two photos, side by side. They should morph the sailors who don't support Kerry from the Kerry picture over to a photo of the President, and have them all take the same positions around Bush. THAT would be excellent! Then the voice over "I am voting for Bush".

This reminds me of the dueling ecconomic experts of the 2000 campaign. Gore had his nobel lauriet elitists and Bush had his mass of ecconomists.
Just one picture of GWBush in the middle of all those veterans would end Kerry's viet nam credibility. (as if he had any.)

Kerry cannot give a direct answer to direct question. Reason? Kerry, the quintessential politician, takes whatever stand he deems his current audience wants. So what if tomorrow he is front of a difference audience; he will change his position to fit them. To be able to give direct answers, Kerry would have to stand for something; he doesn't, and thus, can't give a direct answer, because that answer would conflict with a statement he made to a different audience previously. Good point. I was going to use the line that I used to say about Clinton, in that the only position he wouldn't flip-flop on is abortion. Then I remembered that Kerry flip-flopped on that, saying that life begins at conception, but still supporting abortion!
To: middie
The question is--and it's not simply rhetorical, are his two commendations worth less because he was in the fast lane for only eight or nine weeks? The length of time he spent in-country is only pertinent because Kerry initiated a request to leave early curtailing his one year obligation. He did so using a technicality and a questionable awarding of a PH (the first one.) His contemporaries, John O'Neill and others seem to have a problem with Kerry's early departure as well as his antiwar activities once he got back.

I don't know who is making the Kerry/Edwards commercials but I hope they keep them. The Republicans must have gotten a ringer in that group. They are all awful.

The RATS don't have any better voter registration than the Republicans do. And they sure don't have a better local ground campaign. They are having to hire FELONS to go door to door. I just hope one of them stops at mine. I really, really do.
They are thieves, sex offenders (I know it shouldn't be a big deal since their president was one also), etc. I heard it on Fox News this afternoon by Mort Kondracke, IIRC.

in the miami black community everyone is being told to go and vote.
whether convicted
whether illegal
whether not a citizen
go to the poll and demand to vote. the poll worker is then REQUIRED to provide a provisional ballot which will allow the person to vote. FL does require a picture ID, but that is not hard. FL will issue an official ID card through its DMV.
In 2002 so many people voted provisionally in "certain" precincts that the provisional voter forms ran out and they had to rush print and deliver more.
Imagine a close election and all the provisional votes being demanded to be counted? This is why they are suing the state of florida to force retroactive reinstatement of voting rights (but not 2nd amendment).
Thus even if Bush wins FL, even if the 10,000 illegal felon votes are not permited to be counted, the DNC will STILL claim over a million black felons were not allowed to have their votes counted.
To: kcvl
forgot to add, one of the talkin heads said that some of those convicted felons were actually convicted thieves who were caught scoping out homes for robbery. They did not elaborate but it left the impression they were caught and the house to house was the common denominator.

I recently saw a newer Kerry ad. The ones against him weren't in it.
I thought I saw four guys; seems like he picked up a new admirer.

Edwards shows up defending Kerry. But no Kerry.
So, does that mean Kerry has "lawyered up?!"
*snort*
Most of the time I see Kerry in public is when he is John F'n Kerry, "Action Figure"....on bikes, on skis, para-gliding, skating...you know, all the things teenagers usually do for fun when they don't have time to do their homework (like reading National Security Briefs).

Kerry Museum Photo Documented
Communist Vietnamese honor John Kerry, the war protestor, as a hero in their victory over the United States in the Vietnam War -- Part II.
On Memorial Day, May 31, 2004, Vietnam Vets for the Truth broke an extraordinary story about a photograph hanging in the Vietnamese Communist War Remnants Museum (formerly known as the "War Crimes Museum") in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). The photograph, displayed in a room dedicated to foreign activists who contributed to the Communist victory over America in the Vietnam War, shows Senator John Kerry being greeted by Comrade Do Muoi, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Jeffrey M. Epstein of Vietnam Vets for the Truth acquired the photograph during the Memorial Day weekend in response to a general request for photographs and records detailing Kerry's activities on behalf of the enemy.
Vietnam Vets for the Truth has now further documented the photograph. Photographer Bill Lupetti returned to the War Remnants Museum in Saigon on June 2 at the request of Dr. Jerome Corsi, co-author of the original article, and photographed a current edition of the "Viet Nam News" next to the display honoring John Kerry.
.
Photograph of John Kerry meeting with Comrade Do Muoi, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, in Vietnam. Photo displayed in the War Remnants Museum (formerly the "War Crimes Museum") in Saigon. The June 2, 2004, edition of "Viet Nam News" is held beside the Kerry photograph to confirm the date the photo was taken. English-language placard below photograph reads: "Mr. Do Muoi, Secretary General of the Vietnam Communist Party met with Congressmen and Veterans Delegation in Vietnam (July 15-18, 1993)."
Dr. Corsi asked Mr. Lupetti to more thoroughly document the layout and scope of the museum, particularly the section featuring those foreign anti-war activists whom the Vietnamese communists wished to honor. He took a number of additional photos at the War Remnants Museum and elsewhere, several of which are presented below.
