Well stated.
I believe it was around 50,000 dollars in profit she made. ( So the person who bought them did not have the same knowledge that she did. She had secret information of what the stock was worth.
It does not excuse her as a member to at least two boards and a stock broker.
It is MASSIVLY ironic. It also shows that she would not hesitate to brake the rules for her own advatage. A typical democrat.
>>I think they were soft on her and she is not the least bit contrite for anything she's done.
I agree. Martha got off easy with five months in the slammer. If I were in her shoes, I'd stop fighting the unwinnable fight and take my lumps. If she surrenders herself to the authorities immediately, she'll be out by Christmas. Maybe prison will be good for her. She'll be able to run her business from her home during her house arrest. Five years from now, it'll just be a bad memory. Maybe 10 years from now, with all her money and Democrat connections, she'll be able to wrangle a pardon.
I don't know what kind of crap her advisors are feeding her, but she's just prolonging the inevitable and wasting her time and precious money trying to fight this.
She is nutty as a fruit cake but Stewart is also quite unrepenant and wallowing in victimhood like her pal shillery. she lives in her own little Idaho to compare herself to Ghandi for pete sakes!!
Ivan! you owe me a keyboard. HAHA ....
OOOPS. reread the first sentence. Mandella not Ghandi.
Friends don't let friends drink (any liquid) and Freep. ;)

You summed up her case and her reaction.
"lying to government agencies during the course of an investigation is a very serious matter, regardless of the outcome of the investigation."
When did this happen??????
maybe so but i really needed my coffee just all over myself and my KB.
Why not boycott " LIVING",/ Martha cannot accept blame for anything! Its so Clintonest. One tiny admission was impossible for her but would have opened the door to her resurection instantly. Now, she takes the chance of a worse outcome if the appeal is granted. Rather than serve the small sentence, her pride won out. Everyone would wait her out and be back. She couldn't do it.
She wasn't accused of insider trading. She was convicted of lying and obstruction of justice. The really ironic thing of all this is that Wachsel didn't believe in his own product. The FDA wanted more testing. It has now been proved effective and the stock value has gone up. My husband's job was to keep up with all these new companies and he knew that it was a good product from the beginning.
Not nutty;arrogant,pompous,nasty,greedy,underhanded,and delusional.
I heard that!
She is ridiculous!
You're absolutely correct!
I stand corrected. :)
Regards, Ivan
They will NOT shoehorn her in and this is according to the people who run Danbury prison and has been all over local,Conn. papers for weeks.
