I was there the same time Hanoi Kerry was.
I was there Oct'68-Apr'69 as a GMG 3
I served on the destroyer USS Corry DD-817
which supplied PCF's and PBR's
and gave gunfire support in North AND South Viet Nam.
My ship may have even supplied Hanoi Kerry's boat.

I VOW to the 58,229 + names on The Wall who never came home

"I will do everything I LEGALLY can
to keep this traitor from being elected."

Hanoi Kerry MUST NOT win on Nov 2 2004

"It is a fact that in the entire Vietnam War we did not lose one major battle.
We lost the war at home and at home John Kerry was the field general"
- Bob Elder, Swift Boat Veteran For Truth

"I do not believe John Kerry is fit to be commander in chief of the U.S. armed forces,"
said retired Rear Adm. Roy Hoffmann, chairman of the organization.
"This is not a political issue. It is a matter of honesty."

Please distribute this url link far and wide.
Especially to military and vet groups.
Hanoi Kerry must be exposed for the traitor he is.
It will be updated on a regular basis.

It also contains links for voter registration
for the military AND civilians.

Lately there seems to be talk on the media about "uncontrolled government spending." The 'RATS' other talking points aren't working, so they're trying to anger those conservatives upset by expansion of government programs.

Perhaps the RNC could make an effort to explain why compromise is often needed in politics (so you can win a battle on your way to win the war). It might also help to put the deficit and spending in real/today's dollars perspective.

I would also like to see some commercials touting the successes in our War on Terror. The mainstream media certainly isn't covering that stuff.

I also believe we need more "never forget" messages out there. These could include more mention of our "civil defense/Homeland Security" successes, too.

Last, but not least, I would love to know how many who served in Viet Nam and weren't carried out on stretchers got to return home after only 3 or 4 months of service.

One more thing, War Room guys:

Stay the heck away from Vietnam! What you need to have Bush say is that there is a war on NOW that's more important than one that was fought 30 years ago. Say you respect Kerry's service to his country but it's not important to today's issues and then segue it to the War on Terror. Every time.

The Democrats and the lib media want to portray this as War Hero Kerry vs. AWOL Weekend Warrior Bush. So don't go there. Don't play their game. If necessary, let the surrogates pick away at Kerry's war record and protester past but DON'T EVER let GWB get near it. EVERY time Kerry brings up Nam, Dubya brings up the War on Terror and what he's doing TODAY that makes America more secure. Most Americans will understand that what someone is doing in THIS war is more important than what he did in a war that happened 30 years ago. Instead of deflating Kerry's war record, we need to build up our current war record.

Oh, and one more idea you probably don't need to be told:

Flight suit pictures. They work great with a certain demographic that thinks GWB is a hunk. This needs to show up in some of the ads, particularly with the Breck Girl now on the Kerry ticket.
