With the success of "The Passion of the Christ" still reverberating throughout Hollywood while viewers increasingly tune into digital cable as an alternative, it's not surprising that TBN gains favor among new viewers as the family-friendly network.

LOL
Hal Lindsey's Intelligence Briefing is one of my favorite shows as well.
I washed my fingers and can't do a thing with them.
Hal Lindsey's Intelligence Briefing was the first and only place I've heard mention that the socialist Canadian government plans to implement the Islamic Sharia Law into the Canadian Constitution, and claiming the Bible as "hate speech".
heh-heh-heh!
Oh yeah. LOL
Hal has a pretty large audio/video archive on the net. I don't have cable tv but have dsl so 75% of tv I watch is old movies, documentaries, or tv show streams on the net, usually on my tv via the tv-out overlay on my video card so I can surf while watching full screen on tv. TBN, 700 club, Van Impe all have online streams even though they all come on locally too.
I've never understood why CBN doesn't run a full 30 minute professional news segment, without comment by Pat & Co, and all the miracle mush that comes later. It would be very effective if it was shown daily in the right time slot ( evening news time).

I had heard something about the "vow and prayer cloth" thing years ago. When his ministry was going under, they threw out all the prayer requests and kept the money. I was just surprised he had resurfaced recently. The only reason I found out he was back was when I was channel surfing and went by BET, his program was on there, and that struck me as odd.
Rod Parsley is a bit strange but one show he was doing a report about Sudanese slavery. Imagine that the showboating preachers had more to say about it than the US government for so many years.
Speaking of the US government. Does Rep. Dana Rohrbacker (R-CA) represent the Santa Ana area? I've seen him on TBN a few times in the last year. One of his most recent visits to the network was when the gay marriage fiasco was just rearing it's ugly head in SF.
The only preacher I've ever seen on TV that I thought had an ounce of credibility was Billy Graham, who I think has tons. The moment I see the caked-on-makeup ladies, or the guys with the insurance salesman suits and bullet-proof hair, I keep clicking. I've had bad luck dealing with born-again Christians who drive caddy's and wear high-end clothes.
Add me to the list of false prophet despisers.... These guys have their heads so far up Amway's behind it isn't even funny.
Someone needs to tell Benny Hinn that Nehru jackets went out in the 60's....
"Benny Hill is a con artist"
No, Benny Hill is a dead British comedian... Benny Hinn is a con artist... frankly I think Benny Hill has more of a chance of getting into heaven.... grin
No doubt. I think I've seen him in Armani several times. And those aren't cheap - 3-4k a pop if memory serves.
TBN is channel usually on in our home.
Great movies.
INSP Channel is the other one as it has the daily Catholic Mass.
TBN has allot of old tv and music stars on it yes even Glen Cambell and Grace Slick. Both living on day at a time to battle their alcholism.
I am very glad to see more freepers are watching TBN.
The Baldwin brother (youngest one) just acted in a movie they had on of the last days and taking the mark of the beast.
I hear he is dedicating his acting to Christian movies now.
Some singers I enjoyed in my youth are now on TBN.
I gave my son flack when he started watching it all the time about a year ago then I got hooked.
Sat night they play the early days of Billy Graham. Wonderful stuff for the soul.
We have aense of humor for the telescams on TBN but not all their programming is Benny Hinn Tent preachers.
We laugh and tease the money grubbers who want there love gifts but TBN has some great movies. Timechangers, Six and the older Christian Flicks.
We decern.
The tent preacher (con) that beats the crap out of his audiance.
One time we saw him knock down the first three rows. LOL
We click off TBN or laugh at his BS at that point anyway Catholic Mass is on at that time one Channel down.
Apparently somebody *really* doesn't like Tilton:

[warning: flatulence humor]
The Van Impes scare me.
A couple times a month my dad nags me to watch them and I never fail to come away completely freaked out.
