With the success of "The Passion of the Christ" still reverberating throughout Hollywood while viewers increasingly tune into digital cable as an alternative, it's not surprising that TBN gains favor among new viewers as the family-friendly network.

I have been watching TBN for years off an on when I land on the channel. Its like a continuous running show. My favs are Paul, Jan & Benny. After years of watching here are my their most memorable scenes:
1) Paul and Jan doing their "backward masking" show with Led Zepplin and Stairway To Heaven "zzzz cause I live with Satan! zzz". Me and my brother ran out to K-Mart and bought the album. Thanks Paul and Jan for a great suggestion!
2) When Jan sat and faced the camera with those long eyelashes and she told us the story how she first witnessed a miracle and believed in Jesus "I was a little girl and I had this dead little chick and I held it in my little hands and prayed to Jesus to bring it back to life and it did!" and she's crying while telling the story.
3) When Benny Hinn comes out wearing a collar that makes him look like a reverend or minister. He wears a "stylish" suit but has the little tab in the front..
4) OK one more. When they show that gold stage and there is like 10 of them standing shoulder to shoulder and singing and sweating and crying.. surreal...
Can someone please confirm if Jan's hair is white, pink, or gray? I cant figure it out after so many years...

Charles Stanley and Creflo Dollar are my favorites.

The problem with the Crouches is they don't preach the Gospel. Anyone who preaces faith plus works to get into heaven is a fake. Where do the Crouches preach a "faith plus works" based salvation?
Show me some quotes.

He's more of a "faith healer" than anything else. Nonetheless, I agree he is a grandmaster of all shysters.

Was that on the same interview show, Dateline NBC I believe, that exposed to the world he was living large in a million dollar home and 2 or 3 luxury cars and SUV's in that home's garage, bought and paid for by donations to his "ministry"? He called that interview, "the work of the devil", nevermind he broke one of The Commandments. LOL

He sure does! Purple is my favorite color too. LOL
His face reminds me of Arsenio Hall for some odd reason.

He's a prosperity gospel type which probably isn't as bad as claiming to raise folks from the dead. Even so, it appeals to a person's greed and many folks I met who are devotees of Creflo Dollar are not the nicest people.

"He's more of a "faith healer" than anything else. Nonetheless, I agree he is a grandmaster of all shysters."We should keep things in prespective. Shysters are dishonest attorneys(there is a joke in there somewhere). Benny Hill is a con artist.
To: cyborg
Not quite Charles Stanley material, but Creflo Dollar does minister followers to apply God, and God's word into everyday life, so that one can feel equally rich in the soul as in life itself. Sort of like a Tony Robbins for the religious set.

I never did like Robert Tilton to begin with. He's got that creepy look about him, like he wants to reach through that camera and grab my wallet out of my pocket.

For local free tv, TBN is not so bad when they play feature length movies with no commercials, like "Abraham" with the late Richard Harris, and several others that were enjoyable.
I don't watch much tv, but catch Hal Lindsey and the first 10 minutes of news on the 700 club sometimes.
If they play classic biblical movies and I come across them I will watch or tape for later.
