Virginia is a beautiful state with all kinds of great stuff to see. Colonial Williamsburg was always a favorite of mine when I was a kid. The list of historical sites of great importance is longer than I care to type.
For those who aren't into history the state offers many locations of scenic natural beauty.
Who cares what some poofters think?

A modest but decent visit to colonial Williamsburg would not be amiss at all, I'd say. Especially after the summer heat diminishes.

Time to end my Virginia boycott. I've had several bad experiences in that state along I85. I never met a single nice person there, and some people were actually bad enough to cheat me. I've heard wonderful things about Virginia and the people there, but that hasn't been my experience. I've been boycotting them for about 9 or 10 years. In light of this new info, I'm ending my boycott.
It's only been a partial boycott. I haven't researched to find out what products come from Virginia. I just avoid going into the state when possible, and when I must go through there I'm careful to eat and gas up just before entering the state so I don't spend any money there.
Is Nextel based in Virginia? I didn't know that. I have them, and have been thrilled with them. If you switch to them, I don't think you'll be disappointed. They're expensive, but worth it.

Virginia is a grand place to visit. There is so much to see. I haven't been back there for years but this post has rekindled my interest. I'll leave the Pacific Northwest to the sickos, thank you. Give me the Old Dominion anytime.

As you know, Virginians don't "hate" homosexuals, we simply believe that "MARRIAGE" is the holy joining of one man and one woman for life. However, I DO think our beaches, mountains, State Parks, and historic areas will be just a tad more wholesome this year...LOL!!

We went to a MD beach last summer and I was sickened by all of the gays making out on the beach in full view of all. Must've been Rehobeth... Pretty town, but quit the magnet for the gay crowd.
