AQ needs small teams to accomplish what they want here. you will never be able to have border security tight enough (Mexico or Canada) to stop 20 determined people from getting across. Not that I am disagreeing with you about better border control for illegal immigration, I agree with you. But all I am saying is, you'd have to build an iron curtain across the mexican and canadian border to stop 20 people.

If we had real border sucurity, they'd be less apt to even try it.

What scares me more than our porous borders is the fact that about 100,000 Mohammedans are allowed to immigrate to this country every year.

Personally, by now I think AQ has probably recruited some native-born Americans to do its low-level dirty work. And as for the head honchos, I doubt that they're swimming across the Rio Grande or even heading down into Buffalo. As you pointed out, it only takes a handful, and they're probably already here, legitimately and with their papers in order.

You are absolutely right.

Then build it - or we can wait for nightclubs, gas stations, shopping malls, and large buildings to start randomly exploding. It's our choice. Personally, I like the first one better.

And your problem with that would be...?

Personally I think an iron curtain on our southern border is a great idea. Further, I think it should be constructed using the labor of those caught sneaking across said border. If being caught while wetbacking no longer meant a box lunch and a bus ride back to the border to try again the next night, but instead meant a six month sentence at hard labor building "The Great Wall of Texas" perhaps the criminal aliens would rethink their plans.

Well for the south, I'm all for it. For the North; I say we Annex Canada, kick out all the Froggies and tighten up the coasts. Let AQ break through the polar ice cap and come down from there, oh and make sure the polar bear population is ready for them. :-))

Okay. Let's sentence every Illegalien to six months' labor on building the "iron curtain" - then ship them home. Nothing like making them earn their keep...
