Congressman John Culverson just stated he has just received informantion from Southern District U.S. Attorney Michael Shelby (Texas)that Al Quida members have been entering from our southern border and have been entering through Texas and blending into towns....He stated this was classified and he given the OK to release this information.
The congressman may be a former congress memeber, I didn't hear his complete title. He is on KFI Los Angeles now.

".I just wonder, how many have been actually assisting them for small time bribes..."
Have you ever been to Mexico, Joe? The answer to your question is...MORE THAN you could ever imagine....They can afford the Mexican police, not just the peons.

Best thing that could happen.
I can spot sandmaggots trying to speak spanish 100% of the time. It's even funnier than trying to speak English.

Have you ever been to Mexico, Joe? Yes, more than most, in the old days. I no longer have any desire to be in that country.
The answer to your question is...MORE THAN you could ever imagine....They can afford the Mexican police, not just the peons.
Actually, I can imagine, since I personally know of drug smuggling cases where Mexican law enforcement was bribed with cheap prostitutes.....

Just noticed your tagline....."Trail lawyers are the tapeworms to wealth creating society"
Is that anything like a "TRIAL lawyer"?

He's not my congressman, but is well known in conservative circles in the Houston area and is considered very credible.

"Trouble is, we didn't have the manpower to accomplish all that (sending troops to the Middle East) and still protect the borders and God knows what else." What makes you assume something like that?
After 9/11, Bush sent a pawltry 1,400 National Guard to the borders and illegal immigration was reduced by 30%.
There are thousands of National Guard available that could be doing border duty on our own borders.
The National Guard's not on our own borders for exactly the same reason the Border Patrol's been forbidden to do any more interior sweeps.
They were too effective against illegal immigration!

If I were a Mid Eastern terrorist, the last place I'd want to be is at an American airport, where everyone in the terminal would be gawking, and staring holes through you.Half the passengers at NYC airports are swarthy. Mid East types would feel right at home. It's where the terrorists will most likely arrive in this country.

Not only that, shouldn't the protection of America, our homeland, where we live, be priority #1 ?

Thanks for the link. It seems odd that at least three Freepers don't have an affinity for such information. I did not post to that thread, because I did not even get a 'ping' to it (& must of missed it). Is this another new rule ?? Posters have to reply to *all* threads ????
Straw-man argument. I never said that you should have been on that Baca thread. What I did say is that you and a couple of others seem not to have an affinity for criticizing Joe Baca -- on this thread.
To: Joe Hadenuf
I read on another thread that Asa Hutchinson, undersecretary of Homeland Security, reprimanded border agents after they rounded up 400 or so illegals. Said that while it was the law, it wasn't "official policy."
You connect the dots.
Also, Rick Roberts went ballistic about this on Michael Savage's show.
One question I have: WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!?!?!?

Just noticed your tagline....."Trail lawyers are the tapeworms to wealth creating society" Thanks B for the notification, noticed that earlier today and by reply #416 changed my dyxlexic error.
I do appreciate you notifying me, though, does show that you actually care about people you don't know.
Take care B and thank you for your thoughtfulness.

One question I have: WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!?!?! Ask Joe Baca(D-CA). Joe Hadenuf will be totally silent about him on this thread or any other immigration thread.

You know what's tragic? A good friend of mine, who is a Colonel in the Iowa National Guard, speaks of another terrorist attack on American soil not in terms of if but when. If it should happen, and it was determined that the terrorists game through our porous Southern border, one would hope the political careers of those who are open-border, pro-illegal immigration proponents (including my Senator Hagel) would come to a swift end. We need to start holding accountable the politicians who are literally risking American lives to pander for votes.

. . . extra wide racism brush . . .
You must have meant to firect your comment to the individuals who was weeping in their beer about us'n whites becoming a minority. All I did was point out that discussions about undocumented immigration invariably turn into whiny discussions on race by those who use the misdemeanor infractions as a subterfuge for their dislike of people who are different or better than they are, or both.

Worth repeating.

Yep - that's it.
Although, in a peculiar twist of fate, when I showed it to an Iraqi guy I know, he said it was Persian/Farsi/Iranian, and when I showed it to an Iranian guy I know, he said it was Arabic.
WTF?

Many were mocked and called names for even suggesting it. I remember some of those flame wars. Things seemed to have cooled down a little.
I too heard Rick Roberts last night on the Savage Nation. I couldn't remember his name till SerpentDove brought it up. He did a great job on the illegal alien/borders/terrorist connection.
Is Roberts out of California?

And that is exactly the point and intent. I don't mind a little deviation from a thread but I don't like stalking another freeper.
