Congressman: Al Qaeda entering southern border and changing names to Mexican surnames
KFI 640 Radio Los Angeles | 7.16.04 | Joe Hadenuf

Posted on 07/16/2004 5:34:53 PM PDT by Joe Hadenuf

Congressman John Culverson just stated he has just received informantion from Southern District U.S. Attorney Michael Shelby (Texas)that Al Quida members have been entering from our southern border and have been entering through Texas and blending into towns....He stated this was classified and he given the OK to release this information.

The congressman may be a former congress memeber, I didn't hear his complete title. He is on KFI Los Angeles now.

Joe, is there anything to substantiate this yet?

Just the United States Congressman from Texas. LOL!

The only thing that might end this insanely bogus "border enforcement" unfortunately will be a mushroom cloud above DC -- but even then who knows...

I agree with you. And I think they are that good. Well, let me rephrase that... I don't know how "good" you have to be to keep your head down for a year or two, and only interact with 2-5 people in your cell, and come up with some simple way to "cause problems" in the US. None of the individual attacks needs to be a big deal, but if a few hundred of them happened all across the country at the same time, it would be a problem.

Unfortunately, I *honestly* tend to agree with you.

look at iraq - for a few days after those targetted strikes to try and kill Zarqawi, roadside bomb attacks and ambushes on US forces dropped way off. for whatever reason, these terrorists need some kind of central authority to pull these things off - same with Israel taking out the Hamas leadership - and when that structure is disrupted, so are the attacks.

IOW, Joe hadenuf tries to hide his silence of Joe Baca(D-CA) on FR with hyperbole.

Sorry, not good enough.

A United States Congressman from Texas states this on a 50,000 watt, west coast radio station and this is not a good enough source for you? Wouldn't that be political suicide?

All I can say, is look for follow ups...Again, the station is now running this as their top news story.....

i think one example of the approach you outline - was that shooting at the LA El Al terminal a while back. one lone guy, no evidence of a link to any structure, just went to the airport with a handgun and made his move.

And we should trust your report, why? Especially since your silence about yesterday's show.

It was 2 1/2 years ago. I think the info is not very timely. I did mention this story to hubby, and he recalls the same thing. I'm not certain the restaurant is still in business. There are a zillion Mexican restaurants around here. And they all have the same menu.

Uh oh, the pavlovian fan of John and Ken is slobbering mad that someone called him on his hypocrisy and doubted his report.

can you cool it please. what is there to doubt, it is a report of what someone is hearing on the radio. there is even another thread on this same topic with the identical information. the debate is over how much information there is (or will be forthcoming) as part of this to substantiate it.

"Sorry, not good enough."

Whether it's true or not, all we need to know is there ARE millions of undocumented invaders who've waltzed through the border since 9/11....

Some are named Gonzalez, and others are names Muhammad. When the bomb hits, it'll be juuust a bit irrelevant.
