I have to side with mom here. Dad should have thought about this when he was born. She may not have custody but it doesnt mean she doesn't love him and she is still his mother and should be able to voice concerns. Unless a medical problem I agree with waiting now until he is old enough to understand and decide for himself.

"I have heard oral sex discussed by over 100 women over the years, and all but one or two have said they didn't do uncircumcised men."

lol...yeah sure.

Wow. 100 women? That's some sample. If you're a man, are those women that were speaking with you at the time they were doing it? If you're a woman, you are literally living the life of Sex in the City having so many of those conversations. I'm pretty impressed either way.

I'm a guy, and if women in your circle don't talk about oral sex to each other in your company, they must not be comfortable with you

I know plenty of uncut men who enjoy a life of care-free oral sodomy with women outside the bounds of traditional marriage, all of whom do not pay for the service, for the most part, and who claim that their multiple partners enjoy watching the guy come out of his little house.

You believe guys when they tell you how much they are getting?

Well that's why some things need to be discussed very early in the relationship. Who wants to get dumped for that? Not me. Besides if the hope of getting some oral is why some get circumcised well that's sad.

when two grown ups make their son's circumcision or non circumcision a basis for a court battle ,,,,something is way wrong with them not the child. I feel for the kid.

I agree, it's not about the child, it's about two parents who aren't adult enough not to drag the child into their fight. This one fight is 2 1/2 years old and still going strong.

Isn't it interesting there's so much hoopla over circumcision and folks crying about letting the kid decide when he's an adult but there's never a peep over parents piercing their baby daughter's ears.

Southern girls don't have an issue with helmets, only with anteaters. You proved my point. You will have to break up with a lot fewer women if you get a trim

I dunno. It seems a pretty common complaint from a lot of guys I know that chicks from the South (especially the debutante type) don't like to give Monicas. They consider it 'icky.' The correlary of that is the same type of girls are also opposed to having guys perform a little canyon yodeling on them.

The major downside of a cut is loss of sensation.

I thought Female Genital Mutilation was illegal regardless. Oh, my mistake, they're talking about mutilating a little boy. Carry on.

The major downside of a cut is loss of sensation.

The upside of that, is tremendous endurance.

You are spouting idiotic nonsense. The erect penis is pretty much the same, circumsized or not. Of course, if your penis doesn't work...

A child when he reaches majority should be able to sue both the doctor and the parent for ritual mutilation!

"It's all the reason I needed to have my son circumcised.

This case surprises me because it is usually the women who insist on circumcision, not the fathers."

Actually no. I am circumcised and I recently found out that the reason is because my father wanted it. My mom told me that she was against it because she didn't want to hurt me. I admit I am curious as to what it might be like to be uncircumcised. I hope your son never questions your decision.

He's going to have a time find a doc--no doc with any sense would do this.

I think the most important lesson that can be gleaned from this thread is: Guys like to talk about their penises.

What ever happened to monogamy and staying with one person? What a double standard *LOL* What kind of girls do you want your sons going out with anyway?

Maybe I'm just unlucky not to have had such interesting conversations with women. Gay men I know seem to have those conversations with women from time to time. Maybe since they all tend to engage in the activity about which they are speaking, they feel a common bond and can share experiences. I don't know.

I believe men when they tell me how much they are gettin as much as I believe women when they tell me how much they ain't puttin' out.
