Conventions attract hookers because they contain plenty of rich people away from home on an expense account. There's a large convention in our town and the callgirls come out of the woodwork for it. No mention of that on the national news......becuase it's not a 'Republican' convention.
There WAS some mention on the local news, however. Police ran a sting during the convention and caught a couple of city councilmen with their hands in the cookie jar. Oops. Talk about a tempest in a teapot.

If anyone thinks that certain ladies who tends to work nights in NYC will not experience an increase in business when the Republicans are in town they are rather naive. On the other hand, a convention brings along with it a lot more than just party delegates and officials. More service and security people, convention workers, lobbyists, news media, etc. so there will be wide range of clientele there.
Perhaps but we aren't traitors like the rats.
