Ever heard of COSCO?

Check it out.

Ask yourself . . .

How many PLA troops could China deliver to their container ports in So. CA, Mexico, both ends of the Panama Canal, their world's largest building in the Bahamas . . .

in say only 10-15% (or even in 3-5%) of the COSCO containers used across the Pacific?

Keep in mind PLA troops are used to low creature comforts. Keep in mind China has more than a little bit of a mentality quite comfortable 'living off the land.'

Keep in mind this would likely be AFTER terrorists et al had shredded what they could of our military and infrastructure.

Keep in mind that Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua etc., (with whatever help from North Korea), would not be standing by the sidelines wringing their hands.

History has proven that once an aggressor state has struck a staggering blow, others will follow suit. America's wealth and technology are a prize worth gambling for. Any power with enough balls, whiskey and weapons would gladly jump into the maelstrom.

Are you suggesting China could land...infantry on our continent via COSCO containers? In secret? That this undetected army could somehow provision themselves? Furthermore, this unprotected army could somehow manage to survive an air and armor assault?

Part of the absolute domination of our military has to do with our ability to project force where we want to, rapidly. Our carrier groups, even a single one (much less the 7 in the Pacific at the moment), can destroy basically every other military's air and sea forces quite rapidly (possible exception of England). Once those are gone, ground forces, even an army the size of China's, are doomed.

China dos not have the capacity to attack in this manner, much less defend against it.

You really think a man could fight in a foriegn land after being shipped in an airtight cargo container? How can it be?

Probably less than the number of young Chinese men of military age that are in the US right now on educational and H1B visas. Think outside the box. It's better to have lots and lots of people already inside, with lots of cached weapons and demolition gear, than to try a conventional move against the US military.

How would the US street gangs react to suddenly being provided with access to heavy-duty weaponry? How would the US economy do if a couple hundred sniper teams with .50 cal tracer/incindiary rounds started taking out gasoline trucks on US highways at rush hour?

I'm with you. I truly believe a large part of the world wants to take us down and secretly they have stragetized all of this.

Chinese have also been rehearsing amphibious operations in recent months and now have the capacity to launch their own satellites on short notice. Couple that with a socialist agenda in this country willing to sell out anything American to advance their personal meglamanias then imagine the Chinese attacking the west coast using tactics similar to how we attacked Iraq. It wouldn't take much because as a nation the socialists have split our command and control.
