Are you implying that Saddam's Iraq was extensively involved with al Qaeda and that Saddam's Iraq had weapons of mass destruction? 9/11 was caused by fanatical militant Islam. Saddam, Assad, Mubarak are dictators who are fighting fanatic militant Islamists. The money, ideology, jihadists for militant Islam are provided by Saudi Arabia and Iran. Our policy to destroy secular Iraq to get one dictator is foolish. We should have had all these "semi-secular" dictators to get together and fight fanatic Islam for us. Deposing Iran and Saudi Arabia's barbaric governments is the ONLY way to curb the jihadists. Messing with Assad, or Saddam is just that - messing around! I am sure President Bush learned his lesson. I hope we focus now on Iran!
