Not only has Canada blocked FOX News, it just allowed Al Jazeera to broadcast.

Well, that's par for the course. They demanded, and received, the release of "Canadian subject" Omar al-Khadr.

Many of you have forgotten him; I sure as hell haven't. Here is why young Omar was detained: in a display of treachery and cowardice that might equally well stem from his Arab roots or from his Canadian upbringing, he surrendered to US special operations soldiers in Afghanistan. When they lowered their weapons to take him into custody, the little scumbag pulled out and threw a grenade.

As has been widely reported, the grenade killed Chris Speer, who was only 28. Less widely reported is that the grenade wounded two other soldiers; one of them was permanently disabled.

Despite that, the remaining soldiers still risked their lives to take worthless Omar alive -- he was, after all, just a kid.

Jean Chretien demanded the immediate release of Omar. Hey, he had an election coming, and he needed the terrorist vote. For reasons known but to GWB and God, the US released Khadr, and he is at home with his family, all well-known supporters of Islamist terrorism, gloating over the fact that Chris Speer's family is living without him, and another family is adapting to Dad's new life as a cripple.

Two things came of this. First, I will never spend a dollar in or on Canada again. This is the small things (I gave away my tickets to the Canadian Grand Prix, and didn't renew them) and the big things (I crossed a Canadian-made aircraft off a shortlist). Chretien the Cretin wants Omar al-Khadr, let those freeloaders to the North live off of al-Khadr's largesse. Right now I wouldn't urinate on a Canadian if he was on fire.

The second thing: how do you think Chris's buddies will react next time they have a chance to take a terrorist alive? I reckon that any more jihadis waving maple leaf passports will get the "Three S's" -- shoot, shovel, and shut up. Chretien will just have to swing his election without those votes.

But hey, soon little Omar will be old enough to vote. Since he's still a committed terrorist, he'll certainly vote for Chretien -- the terror enabler.

I had no idea that this scumbag killed Chris Speer. You know, back in the days of WWII, MI6 and the Allied military used to mete out justice in Berlin back alleys to war criminals and murderers who they knew would never go to trial. Canada will not see another dime in my household either.
