Why don't they wear a sign around their neck, too.

"Since May, the Federal Air Marshal Service has changed the check-in procedure for its air marshals, no longer requiring them to sign a logbook when they board. According to Senator Kohl's office, the air marshals' service is also considering a waiver that would allows its officers to request a relaxation of the dress code for certain flights.

What is taking them so long? Doesn't anyone in that office have their head screwed on? I hope Sen. Kohl keeps after them!

No, I fly the damn things and frankly this slouching to Gomorrah sickens me. A mandatory dress code for all airlines would put the flying public on notice that traveling on an airplane is a special privlege and not simply a cattle haul. Trust me, the cabin attendants will treat you better if you take the care to dress properly.

And you might want to lose that weight too.

That's alright. I'll trust my own experience in this matter if it's all the same to you. Just dress respectfully, be polite, and smell nice, but not to strong. It's tight quarters after all. Flight attendants treat me just fine. They could give a rip if I'm in a suit. Don't know where you get the idea that you have to be dressed in a suit to be treated better.

And you might want to lose that weight too.

????????

You talking to me? Anyone who can fit comfortably in a Canadair RJ "seat" has no weight problems. Shouldn't assume. You know what happens when you assume.

No, what I say is that Sky Marshals should wear clothing more ideal. Summer time, jeans and a shirt/light windbreaker/jacket, travl as a tourist. Winter time, same thing. Mix it up if there are two of them, one goes in business attire the other, the opposite.
