What do you know about this song?

Is it supposed to be tongue-in-cheek, or sincere? I know on the fourth album, this sentiment was largely reversed (don't remember which song right now), but this one is interesting.
Clarification: I know the song well as far as listening goes, but I'm curious if you've heard Sabbath discuss it in interviews and what it means to them.
