I did a search and didn't see anyone else post it. So here it is. Just received this from Slim-Fast:
Dear Hildy Linn ,
Thank you for contacting us recently about our use of Whoopi Goldberg, specifically regarding her remarks made at the recent fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall. The manner in which Ms. Goldberg chose to express her personal beliefs at this event do not reflect the views and values of Slim·Fast Foods Company.
Slim·Fast selected Whoopi Goldberg as its spokesperson because of her commitment to losing weight, which we applaud.
We are disappointed by the manner in which Ms. Goldberg chose to express herself and sincerely regret that her recent remarks offended you. Advertisements featuring Ms. Goldberg will no longer be on air.
We appreciate you sharing your views with us and we hope you will continue to use Slim·Fast as your partner in healthy weight management.
Sincerely,
Shelby Mahan

WTG boycotters! This offensive, obscene woman does not deserve to represent a company. When will the Left learn we're not interested in supporting their lunacy? I'll boycott anything that truly offends me. Just sell the products and quit trying to mess with my beliefs.
It's a "chill wind..." LOL
Obviously ... not...
Whoopie!...Whoopie is Gone from Slim Fast!
Naive. If you expressed your opinion to your boss, for instance, that he/she is an incompetent fool who smells like an ape (whether or not this is actually the case), you would expect to be fired. Similarly, if you have an advertising deal with a company (like Whoopie had with Slim-Fast) you're expected not to embarrass that company by making juvenile statements the likes of which Whoopie made over this last weekend. And if you do, expect to be fired.
Your understanding of the 1st amendment is pathetic.
I DON'T like George bush......I hate what he has done to MY country.
Who's your favorite candidate, then?
If you all get a thrill by taking someone down,
Speaking of getting taken down, adios.
Whoopie said what he was thinking...I don't support businesses that want to destroy America. Kerry would destroy America.
Slim fast is not a very good weight reduction product what with all the revelations about the protein/carbohydrate ratio (Atkins, South Beach).
Slim fast has a poor ratio - too many carbs!!! I have a dozen cans in the garage fridge sitting there for 6 months. Its OK tho if you are on the way to the gym for a aerobic workout.
How in the world can we remain effective, if we slap these people down after they reacted positively to our complaints?
sw
ha ha! From Sister Act to Cistern Act.
[I apologize if somebody else already made this play on words.]
Ex-Dodger manager and legend Tommy Lasorda went from a very high carb diet of pasta and pizza onto the Slim-Fast diet - he was their spokesman for a while, in fact - and lost LOTS of weight. But man did he look miserable (even moreso than usual). If I recall correctly, he only spent a few months drinking that ridiculous elixir before he couldn't handle it any longer and reverted back to his old diet. ......and waistline.
CENSORSHIP!!!!!!!!!

Great news! There was a thread here this morning about the website taking Whoopi's image off the page.
I wonder just how many letters they got?
could you provide some details and sources?
whooo hoooo!!!!!!!!!!! This is #2. If we can keep picking them off one by one maybe they will shut up.
"Wanted to thank you for good judgment in the Whoopi Goldberg matter. I enjoy your products and was very dissapointed when Ms. Goldberg abandoned all common sense and decency in making a vulgar display of herself. Thank you for remaining a company I can confidently support."
Of course they will!...and the more they scream and yell about this, the more it will keep the story of the Rats raunch-fest in the spotlight. Kerry and Edwards will continue to refuse to release the tape from Radio City Music Hall, and more and more people will want to know what's on that tape. I love it too!!!
.......and I helped to make it happen:):):):)!
I had been working on this email, encouraging folks to call Slim-Fast, and then I realized this was a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to further cement the the ANTI-LIBERAL feeling that most people have. Here is what I sent. Feel free to copy it and send it out!
Well, I didn't have to send this email asking you for action because, THOUSANDS of DECENT AMERICANS took action, and this evening Slim-Fast has renounced Whoopi Goldberg for her vulgar comments regarding the president!
Thank you all for your actions! Slim-Fast has seen what the Kerry campaign can't seem to: The great MAJORITY of the American public, of ALL PARTIES, are NOT for the liberal 'values' that Kerry said after Whoopi's comments represent the "Heart and Soul of America". Kerry sat and listened to the vulgarity and had the opportunity to renounce it, unlike when Clinton had his 'Sista Soulja moment', resourcing a rapper for hate speech.
Kerry made a GROSS miscalculation about YOU and ME. In the coming days, Kerry will surely flip-flop on this matter.
DON'T LET HIM FOOL YOU, OR ANY OF YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY!
This episode shows the LEFTIST agenda Kerry & Edwards have in mind for America, but there is something they forgot: The SILENT MAJORITY won't be SILENT anymore!
Let's reject these LIBERALS and retain a man of decency, faith, and unwavering conviction. The man who made a who told the American people on Sept 20, 2001, "We will not tire, we will not falter and we will not fail."
That man is our President, George W. Bush!
If you would like to acknowledge Slim-Fast for their good decision, please feel free to call them and tell them so!
