Truly the most hideous caricuture of a Mexican ever.
Alfonso Bedoya was an actor who worked in 52 Mexican films from 1935 until Walter Huston gave him the role of bandito "Gold Hat" in the Bogart classic "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" in 1948. He was Hollywood from that point on, only working one more Mexican film of the next eighteen. Alcohol got the best of him in 1957 but that one menacing image will live on forever.
Because sometimes I just have to know.
It so happens I have a beautiful Mexican daughter-in-law and an equally precious grandaughter.
She is a conservative, like my son and their daugher will be raised with conservative values.
She is equally opposed to the migrant invasion from Mexico and what gets her most about it is how American businessmen are getting rich off of cheap Mexican labor.
