Great pic ! I agree with Caipirabob (#437) about it looking more like "Beauty and the [Whoopi] Beast". :^D

Great news, in case some of you hadn't seen this thread. I'm pleased, but only middling pleased. Slim-Fast's statement was almost Clintonesque in its clever neutrality, and I saw nothing in it about them invoking any sort of "morals clause" in their contract with Goldberg and hurting her where it counts - in the pocketbook next to her protruding butt. I hope the sum total of the drunken harpy's "punishment" was more than simply Photoshopping a new face in new print and TV ad buys.
Yes, I would have felt much better if Slim-Fast had made a public, blanket condemnation of Goldberg's despicable behavior at that function. But failing that, this is a start and I won't look a gift horse (or swine in this case) in the mouth.
For now, Hellman's Mayo is back on my grocery list. For now.

Thank you for contacting us recently about our use of Whoopi Goldberg, specifically regarding her remarks made at the recent fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall. The manner in which Ms.
Goldberg chose to express her personal beliefs at this event do not reflect the views and values of Slim·Fast Foods Company.Slim·Fast selected Whoopi Goldberg as its spokesperson because of her commitment to losing weight, which we applaud.
We are disappointed by the manner in which Ms. Goldberg chose to express herself and sincerely regret that her recent remarks offended you. Advertisements featuring Ms. Goldberg will no longer be on air.
We appreciate you sharing your views with us and we hope you will continue to use Slim·Fast
as your partner in healthy weight management.
Sincerely,
Beverly Verga
Consumer Services Representative

OK, maybe they lack sincerity in their choice of words in the press release, BUT, you can't argue about the speed with which she was canned.

However, the left wing POS President of Slum Fast has spent about 1.2 million $'s to defeat GW. He is the reason why Whoopi was hired, and he hired her because of her mouth I am sure he was in the audience laughing harder than Kerry, and proud of his association with ther!

Good, but after I found out that Suave was made in America, I decided to keep buying it... not to support unilever but to support American workers.

We have a voice and it is heard - Praise God!
My remark to an apolitical coworker this morning is that Goldberg's removal should *prove* to her that we all do indeed have a voice. Maybe she will think twice about staying home in November.
As to Unilever.....I am still thinking about whether or not I will support their products. I need to do more research.

Hot damn! We are beginning to have a real impact on the lives of people who trash others. Remember the Reagan movie? Way to go Freepers!

Nope. It's a real picture, taken by Annie Liebovitz, I think. It's more than 10 years old.
