[The Scourge of Yazid]

I don't know how many of you remember this, but there was actually a plot hatched by fugitive Turkish terrorists/immigrants who had attained "refugee status", to bomb the mausoleum housing the remains of Kemal Attaturk-by hijacking several domestic airliners, ala 9/11-several years ago.

I'm not sure, but I think the name of the group, roughly translated, was "The Caliphate."

Do any of you have any more information about this?

My memory of this event seems to have failed me for the time being
