Children brandish weapons |
Sky News has gained access to a young people's camp in Gaza, where the only lesson taught is how to kill Israelis.
Sky's Middle East Correspondent Emma Hurd said the camp, at an undisclosed location, had been set up to drill children in the ways of war.
The recruits, some of whom are dwarfed by their AK-47 assault rifles, are taught how to carry out ambushes.
They are also made to do an obstacle course, crawling under barbed wire and leaping through hoops of fire while their instructors fire live bullets overhead.
Hurd witnessed one training session in which a militant, dressed as a Jewish settler complete with yarmulke skull cap, was ambushed in his car.
Gunmen pulled the "settler" from his vehicle and Hurd was told if this had been real he would have been killed.
She spoke to two 10-year-old recruits.
One of them, Mustafa, said he wanted to shoot down Israeli aircraft and blow up tanks.
The camp is run by a group called the Popular Resistance Committee, which said the next generation of Palestinians needed to know how to fight the Israeli "occupation".
The boys even "graduate" at the end of their training, receiving a certificate from the camp commander.
Hopefully people watching will be rightly appalled, but that didn't seem to be the intent of the report. While not directly slanted toward the Palis, the report nonetheless portrayed the camp closer to a "this is just how they do things" situation, rather than "how can they abuse children like this and teach them to be so full of violence and hate". If there was any outrage to be generated, it was as if we should be angry with Israel, for reducing these poor Palis to using their children in the struggle against occupation. Oh those desperate Palis gotta do what they've gotta do.
It wasn't what was said in the report, but rather what was left unsaid.
Just like no-knock raids and SWAT teams shown on those cop reality shows... pretty soon it all looks normal to the TV-doped masses.
It's disgusting. FNC just showed the clips and I was outraged.
Did they show the "how to ambush the settlers" segment? Just in case anybody watching wants to pick up a new hobby...
Of course, they showed the mock Israeli being wrestled to the ground and restrained, instead of being shot at point blank like the Jewish babies in car seats.

Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed for less.
UNWRA is one of the most futile agencies of an irrelevant, pernicious world body that has given nothing back to the globe but grief, misery and frustration.
Not many people point this fact out, especially those who are intent on de-legitimizing the Jewish State, but the West Bank/Gaza Strip enjoyed a G.N.P. that rivaled independent postwar economies in South Korea, Indonesia and other similarly situated, South East Asian nations.
The Palestinians need to realize that their fortunes will only grow worse with each step that they take toward alienating themselves from Israel.
I'm not sure, but I think the name of the group, roughly translated, was "The Caliphate."
Do any of you have any more information about this?
My memory of this event seems to have failed me for the time being
This morning on Fox & Friends Morning Show video footage was shown showing this training camp...unbelievable. Some of these kids did not look older then 9. They are brainwashing their young. Hate is the order for the day for Palis. And yet the left STILL believes that Israel is the problem.
Stuck in the office now, but I'll look into that when I get the chance later today.
Hey Ivan that disgusting I went to Summer camp with local Cathoic church in my childhood this nothing like this
I remember swimming camping friendship
Not build bombs for ALLAH OH NOOOOO
That type of camp I went too with exception I didnt' study Torah LOL!
I study the Bible LOL!
Rack those photos Alouette
Silly question:
How many of us would enjoy a para-military summer camp where we get shoot rifles, blow things up and otherwise have a great time? How many of us would send our kid to the same place, as long as it included pro-USA indoctrination as well the activities above?
Don't like the Palis, and, I were Israeli, I would flatten and burn the camps and make a special effort to get both the cadre AND the kids AND the parents. But you should consider the question above.
>She was actually reporting from the camp, saying that >there were dozens of these "summer camps" all over Gaza.
My daughters go swimming and other activities in thier "summer camp", the youths of Palestine learn to murder. Hmm, yeah, those poor people of peace. There is no hope if they continue to brainwash thier young and idolize murder. Although it isn't much behind here with the idolizing of thugs and gangsters in the rap community.
I appreciate it.
I know that there were several Sept. 11th type plots-including a foiled plan to hijack a commercial aircraft and crash it into the Eiffel Tower-conceived of before the plans for the second attacks on the World Trade Center were hatched in Malaysia/Spain/Germany.
It's unfortunate that warnings issued by terror experts like Bodansky, Emerson and Kushner were ignored, while the recommendations made by public officials like Rudman, Hart, Bremer and Rumsfeld went unheeded.
It truly is astounding that the uncovering of "Operation Bojinka" did not lead to more dramatic reforms in how intelligence agencies do business.
Thanks for the ping. Pictures, as always, speak a thousand words. The one in the article is hideous.
The Palis are utterly beyond redemption. Islam is a cancer.
There's a big difference between going to a camp that teaches military-type training against an unknown unnamed enemy, and one that teaches methods for attacking and killing civilians, especially a certain type of civilian, namely anyone who isn't your own kind.
You can send your kids to Ted Nugent's Kamp for Kids, your kid can join the Boy Scouts, your kids can attend hunting camps where they learn to shoot shotguns & rifles and archery. But I'll bet none of those camps teach a kid how to ambush and kill a civilian in their car.
Personally I think an anti-terror training camp for kids is a great idea. If I had the seed money I'd go for it.
