There are lots of people here on FR who are not affiliated with the GOP and do not like President Bush.

However, none of them identify themselves as "left-leaning libertarians" while simultaneously claiming to be in line with the hardcore right.

In the meantime, here's some advice for you:

The National Lawyers Guild, founded in 1937, is an association of lawyers, law students, legal workers and jailhouse lawyers dedicated to the proposition that human rights are more important than property rights

There is no human rights without property rights you bunch of jackasses!

People’s Law Collective

People's? How communist. They need the people's elbow dropped on them.

Anyone have any good ideas on how to counter the chaos they seem so intent on bringing to our convention?

Be ready to fight. I won't start one, but I'll do what I have to do to defend myself if I'm there.

It's nice to see that you want to kick people more conservative than you, off of your website.

You're not a conservative. At all.

Good. I worry about things like this. And regarding the cell phones and uploading pics AS it's happening....we could set up volunteers here on FR, dedicated times...where we could immediately put them up.

Anyone have any more ideas? I can help on this end.

Thank you for the concern, it's definately comforting. I don't have a camera phone, but I do have a digital camera or two, a spare laptop and if I can find a wi-fi hotspot I can pop things up onto a server.

I remember listening to all this on the scanner during the DNC 2000 convention...when the US Secret Service ordered LAPD to disperse the crowd after DNCers were being assaulted. If you remember, a liberal judge let the protestors move to within 50 feet of Staples Center the few days before the convention.

Right you are!

NLG: The Legal Fifth Column

National Lawyers Guild and Its Terrorist Network

Orwellian 'Peace' Movement  Excerpt:  During Clinton's tenure, the New World Foundation lavished grants to radical leftist organizations like the Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador (CISPES), the National Lawyers Guild and the Christic Institute - these groups are far left of 'liberal.' Clinton, the erstwhile-pro-Palestinian-now-conveniently-pro-Israel Senator from New York, also bestowed a generous grant to the Boston-based Grassroots International, which in turn donated money to two PLO-affiliated terrorist groups in the West Bank. New World Foundation hasn't change its tune since Clinton's term ended, or even after 9/11, and continues to fund organizations that chip away at mainstream American values.

Anarchist Action Network

Pro Bono Net  Michael Hertz is the co-founder and President of Pro Bono Net.  Hertz began developing Pro Bono Net under an Individual Project Fellowship from the Open Society Institute, George Soros foundation, in 1998.
