Ron Reagan says Kerry's first act would be EO to reverse Bush stem cell policy
Hardball | July 12, 2004

Posted on 07/12/2004 4:10:27 PM PDT by Howlin

He just announced this on Hardball; he said that Kerry told him this personally on the phone while they were discussing Reagan's appearance at the Democratic Convention that his first act in office if he's elected will be to sign an executive order to reverse Bush's stem cell policy.

He's been acting like a spoiled, petulant brat
all of his adult life. He's full of hatred
to dishonor his father like this. Of course,
he was an embarrassing mess during his father's
lifetime, so I reckon dishonoring him in death
is just par for his chosen course.

The real Kerry returned a few moments later, with a preposterously unclear statement on his first executive order: "Reverse the Mexico City policy on the gag rule so that we take a responsible position globally on family planning."

I guess it all depends on what the definition of "first" is.

Maybe I am crazy, but I could swear at some point Kerry said his first action would be to reverse every single EO from President Bush. I remember thinking at the time what a childish statement....

It tells me that Kerry is willing to look the other way while the most innocent and helpless of people are butchered, in order to achieve his desire for power.

I predicted this the night of the funeral.

Same here--mentioned it a couple of days ago (also predicting a prime time DNC speaking slot), and was clobbered by several around here.

So, the bottom line is that the Democrats are exploiting the death of Ronald Reagan in order to advance the election of their candidate.

He also voted against the Laci and Connor Petersen Law.

Precisely.

But my point is that the naysayers on FR said Bush didn't do enough.

I wonder if "the doors wide open" will offend them.

Look at Matthew's right eye. It's twitching like somebody who has had a stroke. Something I've never noticed before.

Considering the fact that the Dims and Runny like to use funerals for political soapboxes, they are certainly welcome to each other.

he has been getting away with contradicting his own policies and words for so long now, that the line between fact, fiction and reality is severely blurred

Michael Meehan was on FNC today complaining that the Bush Camp has a ad on their website with Hitler and Kerry

It was pointed out that the ad was orginally Moveon.org's

Read William F. Buckley's response to Ron Reagan's interview. It's amazing. It's on Townhall.

The boy has at least 3 or 4 loose screws

Hell, he's probably had that many on any given night, down at the bath house.

That's funny. A number of us discussed Ron Reagan right after his Dad's funeral. We predicted he would attack Bush. The thread was pulled because someone didn't like the negative talk about Ron and Patti and the fact that it was a dysfunctional family.

It is patently obvious that Ron is jealous of Bush. Ron dropped out of Yale, became a ballet dancer and dog show commentator. GWB, also son of a President, graduated from Yale, got his MBA from Harvard, was a fighter pilot, Gov of Texas and now President.

Drudge said this morning that moveon.org still has the Bush/Hitler ad on their website. He had a link, but I didn't look.

Kind of like his policy toward Saddam...not to mention Vietnam. I'm sensing a pattern here.
