He just announced this on Hardball; he said that Kerry told him this personally on the phone while they were discussing Reagan's appearance at the Democratic Convention that his first act in office if he's elected will be to sign an executive order to reverse Bush's stem cell policy.

As an answer to: Re: men's pointe shoes written by Polly at 26 Mar 2004 18:39:28:
>I am a desperate mother of a 16-year-old boy who dances on pointe, but have had a terrible time finding pointe shoes that will fit him. We started with the Sansha Futuras which only go up to a 14, and bought pairs in red and blue, but they really were not big enough. He used them for a while in class, which caused quite a lot of reaction, by students and teachers alike. Everyone has a differing opinion, it seems, on whether it's okay for boys to be on pointe or not. I was thrilled to be able to find your e-mails about pointe shoes, Jeremy and Zach, and immediately went to the nydancestore.com site and ordered several black canvas pairs. We live in California and that way we can decide which pair fit the best. When will a footwear company start making pointe shoes for men? Surely there's a demand for them. I suppose the Ballet Trock have theirs made to order. I also asked Gaynor Minden if they could make up some for my son, but they told me they didn't make them in larger sizes (i.e. above 11 or so).
>Anyway, thanks so much for your advice, it's been a lifesaver.
I am a male dancer and a teacher, try capezio plie 2's you can go to any capezio dealer they will have your son stand on a peice of paper ,trace his foot and send the drawing to capezio, you can choose the colour. I use plie 2's they are really good. also go to www.balletalert.com to their forums and fill out a pointe shoe suggestion form.

I like your phrase "little Ron". He's not a junior, after all, and he's getting smaller every time he insults his father's memory.
It seems as if the dems will just throw anything they can think of against Pres. Bush, just to see what will stick. Then when they are done they scurry away, like the little RATS that they are.
Is there a liberal cause you won't embrace?
What will the liberal ghouls think of next?... Cloning and life supporting to a fetal age when tissues are well differentiated for 'harvesting' to treat the maladies of the nuclear transfer identity. The democrat party doesn't give a whit that they're pushing cannibalism, so long as they get two things from the cannibalism: a good hook for their numerous lies and votes from ignorant voters.
Has animal research been able to validate any therapies involving (animal) embryonic stem cells? If not, what is the purpose of experiments with human embryonic stem cells? Unless one wishes to subject adult human subjects to completely non-validated experimental therapies, I see no possible benefit to performing experiments with human stem cells before ESC therapies are developed that work on animals. Are there benefits I'm not seeing?
Also, suppose that all of the embryonic experiments go as well as you could possibly imagine. What practical applications do you see? It seems to me that even if an ESC-based therapy is found that "works", using it would require finding a compatible ESC donor couple, harvesting some sperm (easy) and an egg (not so easy), fertilizing the egg, harvesting the stem cells, coaxing them to do what's needed, and hoping they don't get rejected by the recipient. Somehow that seems more difficult than just taking some cells out of body fat which likely won't need as much "coaxing" and which won't be rejected.
Do you see any way in which ESC's would be more practical?
DOUG!!!!!!
LOL!!!!!
I was hoping someone would appreciate that.
Might Ronnie Reagan be far more excited should President Kerry's first EO be to make buggery a 'National Sport'?
*EEEEKKKKK* But you could be right!
LOL! Yep, time to raise the hate to full staff.
You're welcome. My heart broke for Nancy Reagan. My mom thought I was her youngest sister, and also thought that my oldest daughter was the mother of my youngest. We came and visited her whenever we could, which was frequently. I found her a board and care in a single family home down the road from us, and she got to "know" her great grandaughter.
Two weeks before she died, I was asked to take her to the doctor because her appetite was dropping off. This appointment was set on the first day of school, and I was dropped from my classes. Well, hey there will always be community college. The next week her nurse called me and said she had trouble breathing. She turned towards me, said my name, and said she loved me. After that she became unresponsive, so we called 911. I found out later that before I took her to the doctor, she told her nurse that she wanted to be with her husband. She died on Dad's birthday.
Unfortunately, my mom was influenced into changing her will in favor of her sister. This has some grave consequences for my 9 yr old and I. I have a son still at home who is almost 17, and adult daughters, but my ex smells blood. Alzheimers is harder on the family for sure.
Little Ronnie The Camera Whore Bump
Bush is not against stem cell research. He's against using federal money for stem cell research, except for existing lines. Personally, I don't see why private concerns can't fund the entire cost of stem cell research. Harvard University recently set up a multibillion dollar program to do just that. When Harvard made the announcement, the NYT and other liberal media sources declared it proof of the failure of the Bush policy. I had the exact opposite reaction. It proves that the Bush policy is working.
For Kerry, like Clinton, Hillary and every other Lib out there; winning the Presidency is in their reality; ascending the throne.
Liberals suffer, by way of their medieval socialistic view of the world; a 'King complex'. Of course, all this is an extention of something even more dangerous; and that is their 'God complex'.
Reality is, Liberals should never be elected to any political office. Period.
Wish the next comment would have been; 'tell us about the rest of your EO list Senator'. . .
Great time will be in the debates when the subject will come up. Bush has got something to hit back with alright. Of course, on every issue Bush will have plenty to pummel Kerry.
