The femanization mentality gave me a wake-up slap yesterday. I was in a national chain hardware store at the time. As I stood at the checkout stand, there on the counter, for all to see, were items that struck me as very peculiar. Screwdrivers with handles of a flower design. While I'll concede tools are used by women as well as men, tools are primarily associated with the male gender. What's with trying to make tools look other then what they are, just tools?

I suppose the day will come when camouflage military uniforms will give way to uniforms resembling a bouquet of flowers.
