Yup. The bail bondsman is holding on to a perishable good.

Somebody has ClintonClark.com. I wouldn't want to be him around 2006 or so. He will probably have an "accident" and the domain will become available.

"I'm not in the financial position to just give away money." any propery's value is what someone else is willing to pay for it. He is holding something worth 150k to someone and the DNC wants him to give it up for free. I agree with him, I wouldn't be in the position to give away 150k either.

But I would take the 150k ASAP regardless of who was offering it, the value is pretty short lived.

Or better yet, he can place his rights to the domain name in a trust, and let his executors haggle for top dollar on behalf of the trust.

The article says that he's received many offers, the highest being $150K. It doesn't say if this high offer was from Team Kerry. He probably can hold out for a little longer for more. Make Team Kerry sweat just a little more. He's in the driver's seat for now.

Hold on to the kerrygephardt.com name. Anything can happen between now and the dem convention. Edwards made Kerry lose a couple of points in the polls. Kerry is still free to dump his boytoy Edwards for a real man like Gephardt.

It would be a great site to post lies, flip flops and scandles for the Kerry Edwards campaign.

Yeah, but I think Kerry is 1000% in support of Edwards.

Perhaps, but I made those statements to give some encouragement to teeman8r. He said he bought the kerrygephardt.com domain name. If he wasn't joking about this, it must suck to pay for and be stuck with a worthless domain name.

making it exceed its small monthly allotment of hits

I had to buy additional space a couple years ago due to the increased traffic from photos I've posted on FR.

If you had to pay extra for the increased level of activity, can you imagine what Kerry Edwards the Bail Bondsman will have to pay? He's gonna have to sell soon, or else he may get stuck with the bill.

Can't vote. They don't offer the choice: do what he wants since it is his site.

Yeah, the 1000% thing is when George McGovern was nominated as the Democratic candidate for President in 1972. He picked Thomas Eaggleton as his Vice Presidential running mate. When it was discovered that Eaggleton had been a long standing Mental Patient, McGovern offered the proverbial assurance that he was 1000% behind Eaggleton anyway. It wasn't long after that the Eaggleton was dumped from the ticket in favor of Seargent Shriver and they both proceeded to lose in maybe the largest Electoral College route in history.
