Well, I guess the Supreme Court encouraged this by their latest rulings on the terrorist detainees.
I guess they will rule that we need to free Saddam and restore him to his "rightful place" as President of Iraq.

Since Hussein is going to have to face an Iraqi court, not U.S., Hussein's case should have no standing before the U.S. courts, whatsoever.

Maybe their decisions would be different if it had been the Supreme Court targeted on 9-11???
I suggest to give Saddam a "constitutional" bullet to the temple and be done with it.

And then they'll hear his claim for damages.
Thye'll probably give him everything he asks for to teach that Executive and Legislative branches their place.

"Doebbler has been critical of the United States' invasion of Iraq.
In an article on his website, he wrote, "The world's most powerful army is an army of cowards. They are soldiers who are willing to risk the lives of innocent civilians to protect their own. I don't know about my fellow Americans, but I don't feel very much protected by such cowards."

Let's see:
1. Saddam is not in US custody.
2. Whether or not it was legal for the US to hold Saddam or not then becomes a moot point.
At most the US Supreme Court could order the US to hand over actual control of Saddam to the Iraqis. The US Supreme Court can not order him released by the Iraqis.

Hmmm, I sure don't remember anyone asking the Supreme Court to intervene on behalf of Slobo Milo.
Oh, and this guy Doebbler sounds like a real lowlife dirtbag.

So many lawyers are wannabee actors. The truth is irrelevant, the legal process is all that matters... and getting their scumbag client off. This is his drama queen moment so he best make the most of it.

The irony is that such people do not see they undermine institutions like ICJ by taking such silly cases to them and allowing them to issue dumb decisions like Israel can not build a border fence?

True justice is something much simpler then the circus our courts have become.
Justice consists of
A. Establishing guilt. There is no doubt in this case that Saddam is guilty of inumerable horrible crimes.
B. Providing a fitting punishment. In this case a swift public execution. Next.
