Just reading the table of contents is spooky. These attitudes are not new in America. A recent book, The War Against the Weak, chronicled American scientific researc into eugenics. It noted that much of the theory was developed in the 20s and found its way into practice in Nazi Germany, and not just among the Jews and conquered peoples.

As for Kissinger and Nixon there is almost no way to call them conservative. It's more reasonable to believe that in 1960 JFK was the conservative candidate. Kissinger actually felt that his role was to delay the inevitable communist triumph, a modern day Metternich of 1848.

The idea that in 1973 the U.S.A. had prepared worldwide population control programs won't make us too popular today. It will reinforce the belief in many, overseas, and a few at home that we really do plan to rule the world as a tennis shoed grandmother veteran of the Little Red Schoolhouse claimed to me as I questioned her ideas at a demonstration last year on Long Island.

Sorry for the stream of consciousness ramble, but this story intrigues me.

I understand. We did and do dream of world domination, that is clear.
