The Repbublicans already have control of the senate.

Not in nearly the strength needed .Stay at homes and single issue prima donnas don't help this , either. If the Senators realized the strength, and sitting home pouting is not strength, then I believe they'd be more likely to take it seriously. After all, this is hugh and series.

Several of you keep saying this, it is like some mantra or something. I fail to see where this is supported on this thread. It started out on an article about conservatives upset with where the war is going but abortion, Sen. Spector, immigration, the world court, explosive growth in government and several other issues have been raised by a couple of posters, none of whom fit the description of a single issue voter. Yet several of you keep beating that drum. This is something demoncrats do. It does not matter the facts or the subject always answer as if it supports the view you wish projected. 50 different subjects could be cited by a posted you will still identify them as a single issue voter. This is amazing.
