Or Connie "Shhh, I have a secret" Chung. I can't stand Larry The Lizard King. When he has female guests on, I always anticipate his tongue will fall off its roller.

He is creepy looking.

I haven't watched Larry, or for that matter CNN for several years, since our cable started offering Fox News at least.

Me too.

King had Pat Sajak on last year and had the audacity to ask him if Pat was concerned whether his conservative stance might negatively effect his viewership. King had had Steisand on within the month and the same question never came up.

That answers the question as to whether or not he's biased. He's just another neurotic activist dressed up like a reporter.

I wonder if the b@$+@rd King will facilitate an ambush on Dub-Yah like he did George, Sr., with Stephanopoulos? Who should we expect the breakthrough caller to be this time ... Mary Beth?

I hope it isn't Bush because it will just look like Bush chasing behind Kerry.

I don't watch King - his suspenders put me off, but I would agree that he does not seem to have a political axe to grind. My only observation is that regardless of whether he has a Republican or Democrat on, he throws them both softballs and really doesn't follow up on any answers but takes them at face value and moves on. This has always been his modus operandi and it is what has made him what he is today.
His first big break came in radio when he was about the only talk show host who could consistently get Frank Sinatra on the air. Sinatra felt comfortable with King because he never tried to question him about matters that Sinatra felt were personal, ie; the mob, the babes, the tantrums, etc. Through Sinatra, King gained a reputation of being able to land the big interview which led him to CNN and the rest is history. However, to this day, King hasn't changed the interview style that made him successful in the first place.

Probably a criminal. Ken Lay, Martha Stewart, Micheal Jackson, Saddam Hussein....

They may be indeed guilty, but neither Ken Lay nor Michael Jackson have been found "guilty" in a court of law.

In the U.S., accused people are innocent until proven guilty.

We watched a few minutes of this show while changing channels. We laughed our heads off.

First she asks about the initials
Then she has to ask if it is female or male
Then she has to ask if they are dead
Then she follows it up with their spirit is around the caller.

She should be the one telling the caller all t his information. We turned it off after looking at each other and saying... HUH?

My guess was Nancy for Monday night, maybe from her home?

Char the Charlatan avoided the Biblical requirements of 100% accuracy for prophets. When she'd guess and the person would say 'no', guess again and a 'no' again, then say the person wasn't "focusing," "there's something here where we're not connecting, sorry", and hang up on them.

Basically, ask the person to be open to ANYone living or dead they know, then ask if they have a J in the name. Then male or female. Then add a vowel, then guess a popular name, Joe, Jane. Then was she a sister? a wife? "She/He's around you now." And that was it. It was ridiculously stupid. I was just hoping Nancy won't consider getting in touch with her!
